Heart of stone was an incredible dlc. Get it

Bought the season pass before the game released, now I finally get to use it

The changes to map markers and map filters is a massive game changer. Makes the overwhelming amount of quests much more manageable. I'll for sure be able to stick with the game now.

This thread should be interesting with the original Witcher players and all the new ones, reminds me of the Skyrim thread.

Don't feel too bad. I took full advantage of the oyster/pearl market pre-update.

Man,death March is tough

Having to micromanage every encounter. Black blood for necrophages, multiple signs and bombs per camp..etc

Fun stuff. Let two drowners in white orchard get behind me and they insta killed me.

The new UI makes it easy to do this at least

The enhanced loot is nice

I see The Wild Hunt edition is on sale in the PS store for $52.49 right now. Should I go ahead and get it? I've never played any of these games and was trying to decide between this and Fallout 4.

Have you played Fallout before? I love The Witcher and have played it way more than I did Fallout 4, but if you're more familiar with Fallout then I'd get it first.

I've played through Fallout 3 and NV, loved them both. I've heard great reviews for Witcher 3 but I'm already familiar with Fallout.

Both are really good

Depends if you want to shoot stuff or kill with swords and magic.

Fallout 4 has settlement building.

Couldn't go wrong with either.

I ordered Fallout 4 from some dude on ebay a few weeks ago and got screwed. Haven't played any games in over two weeks. I'm getting kinda antsy.

I've come up with an alchemy build that is dominating ng+ deathmarch.

270 toxicity means I can have 2 decoction and 4 potions up at once due to having the 4th tier potion ability. Or 3 decos.

Most decos are useless but there are 3 that stand out. Ekhida, archgriffin, katakan

Bombs and strong attacks to apply dmg.

The best part about Death March is having to use all of the mechanics the game has to offer. I never really touched oils and alchemy diagrams until I played on Death March. I mean you can still play without using these things but it makes life a whole lot easier.

I love the fallout series but 4 was a letdown for me. I haven't touched it since I beat it.

Witcher is just amazing. So much to do, so many fun storyline....it's probably the best game I've played. I can't really think of one issue I have with it. Took some time getting used to and figuring it all out. I died a fair amount in the beginning but once I figured it out I fell in love.

Awesome.

The base game updated on PC but the expansion content won't be released until 6:00PM CST per Steam.
