They’re pretty cool. If I still didn’t have my MW2 goggles, I probably wouldn’t have bought these though.

But it’s been the most profitable of this generation.
I disagree with your take but it doesn’t even matter. They crushed it on the money side. This game has been a huge success.

Why does it seem like other people can hear footsteps and my general movement around the map way better than I can hear theirs? When I watch kill cams you can obviously tell at what point they heard me then hone in on me... and I never hear them until I'm basically dead. Unlike other games, I am not listening to music while I play this.
Anyways - what FOV and stuff you do all play at? I didn't realize my game didn't change my resolution for me with the new monitor.
Now I'm 144Hz, 1440p, 103 FOV, and basically all of the settings are still high/ultra and runs fantastic. Hasn't made me a better player from 1080p 60hz 80 FOV yet... I still for the most part suck. I can do well K/D wise but doesn't help for Domination obviously.

I have 1000 COD points that I guess came with the game? Did all preorders get this or just flat out everyone? Of course 1000 isn't enough to buy anything good.

I’m at like 95 FOV. Too much distorts the character.
Get you some better headphones. I can hear people farting in their spawn in this game.

It’s in your side. I have never had a connection issue in this game. It has run smooth and lag free from day one.

i am actually enjoying spawning right in the middle of the hardpoint or hq surrounded by enemies. they don't expect it and i pop off a few easy kills before i get killed.
also don't mind playing vacant. if i get into a lobby of zoomers who haven't played cod4 i usually go off. knowing the sight lines and choke points of these old maps comes in handy.
like finch, i'm enjoying the game and don't even mind the sbmm. i get worked in some games, but in others i do well.

Too bad many of the sight lines have been ruined by pointless doors and infinite head glitches. You can mount on literally anything on vacant.

I pretty much figured that, but I'm not the only one.
Do you have any overclocking software on your machine?
The reason I ask is because someone had the same issue and uninstalling all OC software fixed it for them. It's the only thing I haven't tried, because it's a ridiculous solution.

I don't OC at all and I don't have issues - so you could be on to something there. I know Blizzard in particular is not very friendly with their games when you OC stuff. This is on the Bnet client so who knows...

Yeah, mine is on Battlenet too. I won't be uninstalling Afterburner, but I wonder if the Rivastuner that is the companion to Afterburner is the problem. It's the software that hooks into whatever you're playing and displays system data(gpu/cpu speed, temps, fps, basically anything you want to know). Back in the day games definitely did not like it, but it hasn't been a problem for well over 5 years.
I just set it to turn off when it detects the MW.exe and I'll report back later

MSI Afterburner, CPUZ, and Kombuster is all I have on right now. XMP is enabled and CPU is OC'd. Rivatuner is installed but not updated and doesn't run.

You don't like it? I like it but it is extremely easy for PC players to mount. Controller definitely can but it takes enough effort to not do it.

Interesting. I'm going to play some tomorrow, so I'm hopeful that turning off rivatuner is the answer

It is extremely easy to mount on a controller. Once again nothing cumbersome about a controller.
It is the gameplay reasons for it that I do not like. It is COD, we don't need more reasons for somebody to camp.

It's not a huge deal though, just don't get why it needed to be added. To give head glitches more accurate fire?

Anybody play on shipment yet? Is it the same size as the OG map? Or slightly larger? I can’t imagine it being the same size and it being 6v6.
