Well it is annoying having to use an MP5 or M4 just to be able to kill people. No longer having any kill streaks in a lobby. Taking forever to find a match in between games. Playing solo in this state is terrible.
When my friends that don't play as much as me are on and we team up it is enjoyable. Although I doubt they think so. I had a dom game the other night with 49 kills and my friend had 3.... There is something seriously wrong with that. This game punishes people just for grouping up with friends who play more than them.
If you are average to lower skill and playing solo all it will do is good things for you. And it is probably the right business decision but man do I miss the old days.

i almost have gold for the Kilo and P90. each weapon requires an adjustment to get used to. if every gun was the same, there'd only be one gun.

What do you mean here?
I have every sub maxed out.
Kilo and m4 maxed out.
Carbine and Kar maxed out.
If you get put into a lobby with some of the players I do you would see what I mean. You are forced to use the mp5 or m4 because that is the meta. And everyone in that bracket is trying hard as can be.
If I want to play with another gun I better hope one of my lower skilled friends is on.
Edit: Or just get worked. Which has been my mindset lately.

all i'm saying is i don't think using the MP5 or M4 is any easier than using any of the other weapons in the game.

Well you would be in the strong minority there.
M4 has zero weaknesses
MP5 with 10mm rounds is almost as fast as any sub and has range like an AR.
Obviously there are other good guns.
Kilo, MP7, PKM, 725
, snakeshot 357 , snipers and DMRs.
But those two are just so good at any encounter.

i tried using the M4 after the 2nd nerf and noticed a huge difference. TTK was longer for it and i was using it on shoothouse 24/7.

Yes m4 and mp5 are on another level. Have not lagged one time since the game came out but after the update it’s almost unplayable

My go to is the AK-47. Just have to level it up to get the proper attachments to make it decently accurate.

curious about this as well. looks like they nerfed the damage range and the hip fire damage and accuracy. it excelled in close quarters like on shoot house, but i never thought it was viable for bigger maps. knee-jerk nerf if you ask me.
and on the subject of the update, the game sort of sucks right now. crash is no replacement for shoot house, which was one map where you could sort of run and gun. reinforce is a fun game mode, but there aren't many people in the lobbies and i kept getting the azhir cave map over and over again. we'll see what happens when shipment drops. i would be willing to bet that they made changes that eff up that map too.
also sucks that the other two maps aren't coming out even though they announced them. and the fact that it takes so much more XP to level up. of course they would do that, make it a grind to level up when they introduced new content that can be purchased...

No the new “Season” has Night Vision games on hardcore. 8 times out of 10 it’s a night vision match now and you have lasers on the guns and it’s a struggle to play. I don’t think you can play without a laser in night vision.
