I think I was just getting unlucky. I played Cave, Hackney Yard, and Gun Runner. Probably kept getting those because I was backing out of lobbies a lot to edit stuff.

If I’m not mistaken, you can edit loadouts from the pause menu during a match. I could be wrong though.

You can. Even as you unlock things mid match. I put new attachments on my M4A1 mid game.

Define “used to”? Bc MW2, the last great COD game they made, you definitely couldn’t just run around in the open at least most of the time

Did you play Blops1? That was by far my favorite COD with MW2 coming in 2nd. I have not touched one since after Ghosts.

Yeah you need numbers because someone on PC could have the same name as someone on a console. The numbers identify you specifically. It's the only way cross-platform can work. If you don't see numbers when you log into your account on Activision, change your display name and back to what it was and you should see numbers. Older accounts won't show them right away. This is what happened to me.

my "activision ID" doesn't have numbers. i guess that's because i've had it for years. my guess is when you launch the game, it will give you the next best/accurate name.

There's a setting in the game's options to display your name as just your name or as your name with Activision ID numbers behind it too (with the hashtag).

Btw I know you all are well versed in tech but turn off world/weapon motion blur, set film grain to 0.00, and set your audio mix to boost.

Once it downloads, you gotta let it copy. Which also takes just as long to download.
