That's the only thing keeping me from playing this night and day. Thank god, too.
Level 23, 25ish hours played. I'll be playing this for the next year at this rate.

Has this been talked about?
I got this from the G4 iPhone app...
"Well this is really neat. As you've probably heard, Skyrim is a massive game. It's even bigger than you think though. A PC player, after discovering a gate-like structure in the southeastern portion of the map, turned on a 'no clip' mode to explore beyond the Bethesda-set boundaries. This led to a surprising (and totally awesome) discovery.
It turns out that Morrowind and Cyrodiil, the environments featured in the two previous Elder Scrolls games, are built into Skyrim. There's not much to be found other than low-resolution landscapes, but Bethesda put in enough detail for key features like Morrowind's Red Mountain and Cyrodiil's White Gold Tower to be visible."

HRMMM, that makes it easier for some people to add some mod's for those area's then I'd hope.. or perhaps DLC?

Speaking of DLC....
I haven't played any previous bethesda RPGs besides Fallout 3, which had some great DLC which brought all new areas into play. Will Skyrim be getting DLC, and are people expecting it to follow the Fallout 3 model?

The rest of the article hinted at DLC.

Big Skyrim Map

It will be getting DLC, and Todd Howard stated that they are aiming for more substantial DLC, and less stuff like horse armor and houses.

Question: Can you disenchant items that you enchant yourself? Can this be used to level enchanting faster? Or is it better the enchant and sell for $$?
Posted on 11/22/11 at 12:49 pm to xXLSUXx
You can't do this as you can only disenchant items to learn its specific enchantment one time. If you try to do it again you will be told that you already know the enchantment.

You won't be able to b/c it will simply tell you that you already know that enchantment.

No, because the whole point of the disenchant is to learn the enchantments. You can't learn an enchantment you already know.

Because the modders will take care of the small stuff like that.. and likely do a better job of it.

I seem to remember Howard mentioning that Bethesda was interested in porting over some of the better Skyrim "property" mods (houses, items, etc) to the consoles from the PC that the modders create. I wonder if they would do that.

I also wonder if they would give the modder any credit/money for said mods..
