What are some of everyone's favorite quests? I'm debating on whether or not to proceed with the main quest yet.

I'm holding off on the main quest and I have been exploring all of the dwemer ruins. Most of them have lots of cool and shite and they are just awesome to explore

This is a pretty decent list.

"A Night to Remember" is great. I really enjoyed the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood storylines. Also, the whole conspiracy questline in Markarth is pretty compelling.

not a quest but my favorite part of this game is discovering all the new places and scenery this world is packed with so i took a stroll. i ended up walking south from Riverwood as far as i could go, up and down High Hrothgar and skirted along the southern border beneath Riften as far as a could before heading north along the eastern banks up to Winterhold then along the northern banks of the Sea of Ghosts to Solitude. The Rift is next. Totally worth it. this game is amazing

I seem to have lost Shadowmere. I can't remember when/where but I just noticed tonight that she isn't hanging out around the sanctuary in Dawnstar.

Can I get her back or am I screwed?

Go back to the first sanctuary where you got her.

I haven't played this game for almost a month, but I am starting to get the itch again.

Ok so I'm level 41 mage/warrior with all legendary ebony dual enchanted (mostly for magica regeneration and single weapon strength) armor with a pretty badass sword. Cant do shite against alduin. My game plan has been summon a daedra, dragonrend him down, potion up, and then try to get to his back side and hack away, have only had one attempt out of maybe a dozen that i have gotten him down to half life. The frick did y'all do to beat this a-hole?

I'm playing on expert since the game became to easy after dual enchantments and don't really wanna turn the difficulty down.

If you can learn the firebolt spell and dual cast it, it is wonderfully effective. When it hits enemies, it stuns them for a second or two, allowing you to charge back up and hit them again. It does a good bit of damage, and without them being able to attack or fly away when they are stunned, well, you get the picture.

By the time I finally fought Alduin my archery was 100 with all perks and I was using dual enchanted daedra bow with daedric arrows, had jewelry enchanted for archery ups plus a true shot potion. Basically dragonrended him and then killed him with bow. I was actually too powerful by the time I completed the main quest and it disaapointed me a bit.

should i be trying to find daedric hearts or is dargon armor so much better that i should just hurry up and get to 100 so i can finally use all the dragon bones and scales to make some armor

Daedric armor is the best armor in the game. I think it has like a 30 point higher rating with a full set than dragon bone armor. As for why it takes 100 skill to craft it and only 90 for Daedric, only Bethesda knows.

You can buy dragon hearts from a guy in the college. Can't remember his name, but he has two in stock and you can wait 48 hours and he restocks. I think they cost about 1000 iirc.

I use light armor so I have stayed with the dual enchanted dragon scale. I did make a pimp set of Daedric for my follower

The daedric weapons (dual enchanted) are the tits as far as I am concerned. They do make it a bit boring though because most things fall to one shot/hit

Daedric armor is the best in the game and it looks badass. Complete the quest "Pieces of the Past" and you can go to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon every couple of days and get four hearts from the daedra that spawn there.

Dragonrend has a pretty quick recast time, so any time he starts to do anything to you, blast him again. Ever since I got dragonrend, no dragon has ever been able to hurt me much at all.

Got a new video card for X-Mas and will be trading in Skyrim for 360 along with BF3 for 360 to get Skyrim for the PC. I'm stoked - thinking about doing a sneaky archer or a sword and board. Did double one handers on 360.

I was just driving down the street and saw some white flowers on the side of the road and I thought....ohhhh Tundra Cotton.

Methinks I have played too much Skyrim.

I'm rocking a assassin w/ dagger right now. The assassination cut scenes are awesome. This being my first Elder Scrolls game I had no idea what to do, so I went with mage for the first character and assassin with second. Third I'll have to go Nord/two-hand and just hack my way through

I'm partial to chopping off heads with the sword. Or impaling from the front. either works.

Oh if you have played the sneaky/assassin style toon you will be UBER bored with a 2H Viking build. By level 30 you are basically all powerful and susceptible to nothing but magic (assuming you dont double enchant your armor for magic resistance)
