wow. Glad I haven't downloaded it yet. I have it on 360 and PC though so I'll stick to PC.

I havent run into any major problems with game on 360. I do not need a patch. Especially on that causes problems, when I have none to begin with.

It looks like this 'resistance' bug is on the ps3 as well not sure about PC. I've played off disc and haven't had any of the texture problems or game breakers just a few glitched quests and problems with lydia. I figured a patch would create more problems than it was worth.
Search google news for skyrim patch. It does not look good.

People on 360 are going crazy about the new patch. Apparently it makes the game much much worse. Did it come out today?

I wonder if the zero resistances was their way of making the game harder.
Zero is too much and from what a read the simply removed ALL resistances so if you summon a flame atronach his own spell will kill him whereas he should be immune to his fire spell. So it isn't just characters but NPCs too have lost their resistances.
Now they are working on a patch to fix the patch.
This is the problem with a game this huge. There are probably a zillion lines of code and doing one thing in one bit of code can lead to serious problems elsewhere.
So far I have only had a few glitches. I got stuck two times inbetween rocks in a dungeon and had to reload. The very first claw door didn't work but once I left and re-entered the dungeon it worked.
My only problem is load time has really increased. Every load screen appears to be taking twice as long now.
The bugs are a shame because even with bugs this game deserves higher than a 9 rating. I've played 150 hours and I am not remotely close to completion. How many games out there can give you that much playtime?
At some point the game will be fixed for PC as some crazy modders retexture the whole game and increase difficulty to the point the game is hard even with the best gear.

I haven't played in about a week and last night I had a dream that a dragon was attacking my apartment. Pretty sure I'm having withdrawals

I purchased the game last week, but then I got a beta invite to SWTOR...dunno what to do. I can't play both, not enough time.

I hope the PC patch isn't the same way, if it is I will have to set my steam account to play "offline."
