Found a hunter in the woods. I had a feeling a bear was coming. Sure enough he got mauled. Guess I coulda saved him but oh well.

Also, how do you initiate the hunt for a legendary animal. Keeps saying there’s too much activity to track or something like that.

No, if you don't get the legendary prompt, then you're making too much noise

Any of y'all know how to catch the legendary fish? I've been going where I think they are, but they're not coming up on whatever bait I'm using

Do I need a specific bait?

You have to find camp on flat lake, the huge lake in the middle of the map. There’s a stranger mission there from a pro fisherman who says he’ll pay you for the legendary fish and gives you a map.

Form there go to the bait shop in the swamp and buy legendary lures. That’s what you need. The legendary lures.

Use them in the locations and just keep casting all around till you catch one. Might take a while.

ETA: legendary lures will catch regular fish and legendary fish. But regular lures won’t catch legendary fish.

I came across him up north somewhere. Didn’t look like he was calling wolves to me. I just assumed he was some sort of werewolf or something but I wasn’t able to catch up to him. He was hauling arse on foot

If you press the two joysticks in like you are tracking animal tracks...you can see the outlines of fish. That has helped me find some pretty big ones.
