Heard you would need 7gb extra when you actually get the game but there have been various reports on the download size. I pre loaded last night about 87gb but I'm pretty sure at startup theres gonna be another small download.

Xbox. Everything I had read led me to believe it would be more than 87gb but that was just base game, no addons or day 1 patch. Physical copies will be over 100gb for sure.

In the original Red Dead I "parked" my horse on top of the dead animal and it skipped the animation/gave me the resources. Hopefully that's still possible in this one

Sorry buddy I dont have the answer to that. Bought mine off xbox store. Try entering your code into your marketplace and see if it gives the option. All I did was go into my library and the game was there and I selected "install"

Yes doesn't unlock until Thursday night 10p Central.. But the entire game will already be ready to go and launch right away

It gives you some early boosts, extra guns, and extra skins, which I don't care about. In terms of content, it looks like it only has one extra mission. If I knew that it was 2hr+ of extra content, I'd be down. But I'm not putting up $20 extra for something that might add 15 minutes of funsies.

I got special edition. figured the single player content would be worth it. Didn't get the ultimate which has extra add ons to be used in multiplayer because rockstar is pretty generous when it comes to giving away free content for multiplayer in GTA online.
