Yeah that is kray. I've been on lvl21 for a while and doesn't seem like progress is being made now.
Can't imagine ppl who are in the 30s in a few weeks. No way to take gyms back.

I finally took a gym and held it for over a day

whats the sentiment on leveling fast? i hear pros and cons. Pro: you may find better pokemon higher CP obviously. Con: the pidgeys take 5-8 balls to catch. Is this true?

I just went from 14 to 15.5 with a lucky egg session and a ton of evolving. My mistake was not doing enough pidgeys, rattatas, etc. I had some decent 50 candy evolves that I honestly couldn't wait to get in my Pokedex - all about the collecting. 71/150 currently
