Don't know wether to buy this game or not. I've been buying this game every year since 98. This year gives me pause. I don't want to buy a game that is half done.
Is the patch in regards to rosters for the game up already?

Here's where you'll need to go to get a free roster download for NCAA 2010

It is completely different than last year. Much more of a Madden feel. It is much easier to apply pressure to the QB, and the QB makes bad throws when he is hit. They did a great job of giving you less confidence in and around the pocket. The past few years, I just evade forever until someone gets wide open. That can't be done in this game. I am very pleased with what I've seen so far.
About the only complaint I have is that the menus are slower. EA made them flashy this year, and thus they are difficult to scroll through quickly. This is particularly noticeable in Dynasty mode recruiting.
Overall, the game is awesome so far. It seems fair, and there is actually defense. I haven't seen a linebacker jump 4 feet in the air yet for an interception (Thank God). I couldn't be more happy. I was really starting to think I wasn't going to buy it, but I'm glad I did.

Are any if the wal marts in BR still open. One prob is but I know with the hurricanes and purse snatching bullshite they don't stay open 24 anymore.

I just wish every EA Sports game comes equipped with Live365 or w/e from now on like in NBA Live.
So midway through the season you can play with teams that are actually on par with their real life counter parts.
It would make almost if not all roster conflicts resolved. It'd be tough to have updates each week for every player on every team though.

That's always been the worst.
I definitely like the Lock Player feature on defense. I must say I'm enjoying it so far but I'm committing an INSANE number of facemasks...often on tackles that don't even touch the helmet. It's really getting annoying.
ETA: Well there's 5 facemasks in the 1st half of the Wash game.
Trindon's already taken a kickoff back and JJ (who's pretty freaking studly) is injured. 77 yards worth of penalties I have no control over. 
ETA2: Just had JJ pitch an option right into a CB's hands...who then fumbled back to JJ who took it in for 6. If nothing else this game is interesting.

I played for about 3 hrs last night. I must admit I see a lot of improvements. Actually a very good game.
My favorite feature is definately the lock on player on defense.

In his defense, he's not the only long-time NCAA gamer that is not buying this game...

There are too many easy fixes that EA refuses to include in the game (good features that used to be in the old-gen games).
ETA: And from what I understand (not sure how accurate this rumor is) there have been quite a few "boycott NCAA 2010" posts that have been removed from the EA message boards over the past few months.
