I'm running the free rotations. Miss fortune hasn't come up but I liked her when I played the training.

I don't play much anymore. So just check in from time to time.
Choose 2-3 roles, and only 2-3 champs per role, max.
It lets you learn the champ quickly, and focus on the other parts of the game.
Cs is important for gold and experience, and is something you can control to get yourself ahead.
Grouping with your team in midgame is more important than grabbing a wave of cs in the side lane.
Try to encourage good decisions with your team. When someone makes a terrible call, it's better to commit to it as a team than get split up and have it be even worse.
Dying isn't good. Try not to. But never making any plays because you are afraid of dying is worse. Take the approach of being safe and learning to be more aggressive. You'll never learn your limitations as a champ without some risk. So. It's a balance.
Be positive. That helps your teammates have fun and in turn makes your game more enjoyable.
Have fun.
You will spend a lot of hours on the game. It better be fun. So make it fun.

Just kidding.
- Practice CS'ing. It's your most consistent and controllable source of gold.
- Find friends to queue up with. This game is 100000x more fun with friends to team up with.
- Play around with different roles to find which one(s) suit you. Once you find that role, play it often.
- Same as above, just with a set of 2-3 champions.
- Ignore "counters". Unless you're in Plat or higher, they aren't as important as being good with your champion.
