Two mid champs I've been working on - Aurelion Sol and Karma.
Karma is a ton of fun and does some sneaky good damage.
Aurelion Sol is really weird to play, and I either do really well, or feed.
Not sure how much more I'll play him.
I've also figured out that I just have no interest in playing Twisted Fate. I just don't like his kit.

I get bored with lanes all the time and switch around, but my main is ADC. Ez, Jhin, Ashe, Varus, and Vayne are my go tos, with Vayne probably having my highest playtime.
Supps I like: Leona, Nami, Janna
JGs: Kindred, Shyvana, Graves
Mid: Syndra, Brand, Liss, Vlad, and Talon when we need some extra ad
Top: Nasus, Gnar. If I don't get one of them, I suck with the rest so I just try not to feed

I like to switch it up every now and then too, but I would rather just play new champs mid than play other lanes.
When I do venture to other lanes, I generally play:
Top: Yorick
Jungle: Amumu
ADC: Tristana
Sup: Rakan
Rakan may be my favorite champion to play outside of mid lane. He never really caught my interest until I got auto filled support one norm and he was free that week so I decided to give him a try.

I guess that comes with my main role being ADC. While the ADC's are all different, the basic idea is the same with all of them. Farm up, take your shots when your supp gives them too you, but try to stay safe above all. It seems like the other roles have more 'diverse' champion pools.
Also, anyone else go through team select and just know you're going to lose? Got into a game and the champ select alone made me feel like I was wasting my time. Off-meta champs and no tanks is an insta-loss.

Absolutely.
One of the good bit of tilting things about the game are the people in ranked play that play so often that a loss isn't a big deal. They are down in the game and just troll to pass the time...
"I'm 0-4 at 13 minutes.. oh well, a loss is a loss.." then proceed to try to 1v4 the other team every time, or just mindlessly farm down their lane and get picked often.
There is a difference between being open to the reality of having a bad game and losing while still trying, and having a bad game and just making sure everyone else's time in the game is miserable by trolling.

Yes and no, depends on the team and how you play. Won a game few nights ago with four adcs (Varus, MF sup, Jhin mid, Twitch Jg, and Riven top.
Enemy had too much tank and not enough damage.

On a related note, have y'all tried Jhin with guinsoo's right now? The changes to where it grants a percentage of AD instead of a flat number makes it broken as hell. It's a perfect 4th item on him after IE+crit item. I hit a 2k crit when I was at full build with him the other day.

If the champ select is THAT bad, just dodge.
It's only a 3LP loss and a couple minutes penalty.
Beats losing 20 LP and wasting 30 mintues minutes of your time.

back when I actually played this game, my brit friends had a little saying whenever I was reading them champ select.
