Would seem like if Liquid was so great, then why would they be benching Stan???

The argument this entire time has been who was better, C9 or Liquid. You’ve yet to present an argument to prove your point other than who Liquid beat 2 months ago. C9 beat Liquid yesterday. C9 will only continue to get better. This is only the 3rd month this roster has been together.

Now things are different since Stan got benched. I now fully expect Liquid to get bounced out of groups at IEM.

Again C9 > Liquid now and long term.

Long term it's still easily TL, probably even more so with upgrading their weakest player over the last month or so.

ELiGE and Twistzz are still #1 and #2 NA, with a future of #1 in the World.

And again, the ONLY argument I need is who has C9 beat? No one? Okay then, still irrelevant. You are arguing like when a 8-0 college football team wants to make their case for playoffs after beating Darthmouth and Cornell. You gotta beat the big boys at some point, until then it's no contest.

And Zews is playing for Stan at IEM so yeah, probably.

Steel is debuting with Liquid at IEM FYI. Zews is not playing with them.

You’re argument is invalid when the teams in question have played one another. C9 beat Liquid yesterday in a bo3. You’re basically saying if teams are tied head to head doesn’t count, only teams you’ve beaten.

Correct, Zews is playing the major qualifier, Steel is ineligible for it.

And no, it's not, the goal is to be the best in the World not shitty NA. Typical C9 fan thinking there, but I guess if you have ZERO success against the big boys I'd have to talk out of my arse too!

You act like Liquid has had long standing success against the top teams. Come on... Liquid has had limited success against the top teams just like C9.

In fact American CS has really always been behind the top teams in the world and that goes back to when I was playing. It’s just the way it’s always been. Complexity had some success at one point, along with 3D, but other than that, no American team has really had consistent success against the top teams and that includes Liquid.

You act like Liquid is consistently beating these top teams and the fact is they aren’t. I’m not arguing for C9 either, I know they haven’t been successful either.

Hence why I said weird timing, nothing has been going on but some shitty minors. Not major season.

The Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers and affiliated venture capital partners have chosen names for their North American League of Legends Championship Series franchises.

The Rockets will name their team Clutch City Gaming, while the Cavaliers will adopt the 100 Thieves brand previously owned by Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag, sources close to both NBA teams told ESPN.

Not sure what kind of roster they will pull, but it would be mighty funny for them to go 5-13 with the name "Clutch City Gaming."

Golden State has named its LCS team the Golden Guardians.

I feel like little kids are coming up with these names.

Wouldn't surprise me if these big investors are just asking their kids what they'd name an esports team.
