What does any of that have to do with the fact that a team like Misfits has way less pressure to perform than a team like TSM though? Maybe YOU are that way, but I'd like to see how many pickem's got destroyed simply because TSM didn't advance. Most everyone expected TSM out of that group, if not first. On the other side of that coin, most everyone picked MSF to finish dead last in the group. Even moreso to the point, MSF pulls off the unlikely and gets out after being massively written off as the worst team in the group. Who does EVERYONE talk about? TSM. Why? Because TSM was expected to perform better. Obviously this isn't me excusing their play, I've already blown all my hot air about everything wrong with TSM, just making the point of the original statement more clear.

That's the kind of risk you can take in a Bo5. They probably were checking to see if they could get a Cait/Janna first rotation if WE doesn't prioritize Janna highly enough to first pick it. Now that they know, they'll probably ban it every game they don't have first pick.

C9 abusing shields in new ways by just building a shite ton of items with shield actives. Reapered is such a good coach. They've adapted so well over the course of the tournament.
