I haven't followed how queues work at all for the past like 3 years. how does it work now and how is it going to work in the future regarding soloQ vs. duo/trio/etc with respect to ranked, who you get put with, can solo players get put with premade 4s in ranked, against premade 4s in ranked, etc?

They have a Ranked system called dynamic queue that is alot like teambuilder. You can choose 2 different roles to play as and you can queue with up to 5 people. They are planning to release a Solo only queue for ranked.

They match the pre-made sizes against each other. Riotlyte said it was like 95% effective.

interesting, but I wonder what considerations go into the "pre made" sizes. I feel like I've been put with/against premade 4s and 3s as solo and duo, respectively. No fun, for multiple reasons. I'm not really a fan.

Yeah but they still have to fill out the team. So they are filling teams of 4 with a person whose solo. Alot of people arent into that

or trios with other duos? because I would have bet money this happened a few times. talk about a clusterfrick of calls. it needs to show who is premade if theyre gonna do this shite, I need to at least know I'm 1 guy with 4.

I queue as Bot/Mid to try to get AD every game because you would think your more likely to get AD and I end up in mid lane 4 out of 5 games
