The biggest thing I took away from this game is that Zed is purely a situational pick now. The season 4 tank-friendly changes on top of his nerf knocked him off the throne and threw him down to about tier 3 as far as midlaners.
I know that feel.

Two Things:
1) TheOddOne looks REALLY short
2) How does a hot chick get involved in heavy duty gaming like this? It seems so out of place

So what's the deal with CLG? Why the shot at them from Dyrus?

quote:TSM vs. CLG is by far the most bitter rivarly in LoL. It was really nasty in seasons 1 and 2. Kobe used to be CLG's jungler and now even though he's a shoutcaster, he still talks trash to TSM. They go back and forth on twitter all the time. Monte Cristo (CLG's analyst) throws down some, too.

ETA: Although in Dyrus' case, it's hard to tell when he's being serious and when he's being sarcastic. He does a lot of sarcastic fake trash talk so no one really ever knows.

Pretty Epic.
I love how thresh is sitting there. Standing toe to toe with Shyvana. Having a stare down.
Then,
Desolation of Smaug.

1) Find a role you like to play (IE: Top, Mid, Jungle, ADC, Support)
2) Get you a couple of champs that fit that role (cheaper ones if possible. You'll need your IP for runes later on)
3) Practice Practice Practice
4) Get on twitch.tv and watch some of the streamers there to learn. A lot of them will do commentary and answer questions if you ask.
ETA: They have a new set of champions every week that are free to play, take advantage of that. Also don't get discouraged. Sometimes it can be a pain to play with bad attitude players. Don't let it get you down.
Find friends who play and get on skype, teamspeak, whatever to communicate. That it was really makes the game fun and enjoyable.

Carried a 4v5 with Shyvana. First time I was so dominant I carried everyone.
A jayce was carrying with me, but the other two were getting waxed.

Olaf is stupid strong, just went 18/3/7 top lane.
Pretty much every game I've played with Olaf has a similar stat line.

Does anyone get the theory behind why Lucian is all of a sudden such a power pick now? I still don't see it.

quote:It's more of a product of other ADCs getting nerfed. He was weak, but every other champ has been pushed below him. So, it isn't that he's better now. He's just one if the few that can still effectively carry.

Meh, he was never weak.
His biggest problem is that he never had mana to do anything. His burst has always been extremely good, but he would have to blow the majority of his mana pool to harass.
They buffed his mana pool and mana regen, which solved his only real flaw.
And his passive is one of the best in the game

Most certainly do NOT buy tier 2 runes. Not worth the money for the little benefit you get going from tier 1 to tier 2.
Honestly, this game doesn't even really begin until you've played a shite ton of games well after level 30.
