We've got a little LCS action going on today at 2:00 PM PDT. A couple of show matches and then C9 and TSM will face off.

Blah, gonna be a boring arse split again with no one close to C9. No one really got any better sadly. NA is doomed.

@Damonte
will be joining the Golden Guardians as our starting LCS Mid for the 2020 Summer Split!

Good move, Tanner Time is back!

Goldenglue to compete with ablazeolive for Academy, end of the road for him I think finally.

I always thought Damonte was better than GG and a lot of other NA mids anyway.

I dont keep up with LoL much anymore. Do the Koreans still dominate the pro league? I heard NA made a run a year or so ago.

Team wise? No. LPL (China) has won the last 2 worlds and look like they'll win again this year through spring and mid season.

JackeyLove the best adc in the World going from iG to TES has made Top eSports the favorite. Weird story there too.

C9 made semis in 2018.

Other than that NA is a perennial dumpster fire

But that's OUR dumpster fire!

TL also went to MSI finals a couple seasons ago as well.

As bad as last split was, I'm still really looking forward to watching some games this weekend.

I actually prefer Smite out of the Mobas. To me it's much more fun to play. I hate click to move that you find in DOTA and LoL. Feels antiquated to me. Not saying those pros aren't highly skilled, just saying it's not as fun to play for me.

But it's a dramatic dumpster fire. That's what matters.

C9 has really been ripping TSM. Apparently TSM scrims are bad and both C9 Reapered and C9 Jack have said TSM isn't making worlds.

And then today Nisqy said TSM is still really bad, and as bad as last split.

Not surprising given the moves, but this split is gonna be spicy.

C9 Nisqy says TSM will do worse than TL: 'TSM is still really bad'

Reapered has TL #2 team, and C9's only scrim loss so far is to TL. Interesting.

Sounds like TSM is winning Worlds. They never win when scrims are going well.

All the flame TSM got over the off season was 100% warranted on how they handled everything, but saying they're bad before the season starts with 2 new players coming in isn't really a hot take.

Spica is basically a rookie. I get that he played some for TSM at the back end of a couple splits ago but he didn't get a chance to start the year off and get synergy with the team.

Dardoch straight ran it down at the end of last year. In the recent interviews he was saying how he was forced into certain champs and play styles... I didn't know inting was a play style in pro play. I was disappointed with the outcome because I would thought he could go into TSM and change the jungler mold for that team. Not to mention the rumored attitude issues he still had. Spica is going to be a side grade at worst IMO.

They most likely aren't very good right now - but if they don't show improvement over the split I will be more concerned. If they can start the year 4-4 they will be fine.
