You've got another 4 chapters to get through, but I don't have specific amount of time it should take. I just started act 5 on single player hardcore and it starts getting really tough midway through act 3.

Fwiw imo...
Next time we do horde and get to a boss wave...dont bother with forts decoys or turrets.
The bosses immediately one shot these things. I watched the lambent bersker just go from spot to spot 1 shotting our shite.

not a bad idea.
fortifications are like tissue paper to most boss enemies.

Also having one person using a hammerburt instead of lancer allows them to not spend on ammo... More to spend on building shite.

I pretty much suck at multi. Any tips? Anyone? Ive only playrd one round but it was easy to tell these guys have an edge.

I even sucked with thr shotty. Saw some guy camping behind a wall. Got the jump on his.arse fired 2 shots only for him to move off the wall and blow my head off I one fluid motion. It was beautiful on his part. Ugly on mine.

Multi on Gears is tough.
Certainly a steep learning curve for newbs. Me and Pevy were even struggling to go positive last night in unranked TDM.
Momo suggested using the old lancer and the sawed off shotgun. The old lancer seems inaccurate but is powerful, you just have to burst fire. The sawed off is a one shot kill but slow to reload.
Playing with a communicative team certainly helps tho.
Some rounds Me, Pevy, and Momo wrecked. Other rounds or the further drunk I got....not so much

Anyone can hold their own with the sawed off. I'm pretty bad and the guys I play with are great. I don't use it often because if you miss you're fricked but if I'm having a bad night I'll use it to get some kills and then the game becomes fun again.

Retro-lancer is the shite right now. Only takes a few rounds to down someone, I usually roll with that and the gnasher. I like the sawed-off but I dominate players who use it.
