True. Now there's a ton of new different icons for each type of place.

I love it. I had just finished clearing a tower and I saw an icon that sort of resembled a radio station logo. I MUST INVESTIGATE!!

I don't know what think about the game. I like it up until the point that I die. I usually don't have an issue backtracking a little because I died. However, going back a solid 20 minutes worth of effort is stupid. I don't like that I have to quicksave every few minutes.

I'm losing interest in the game. I am a scavenger type person with RPG's. I spend way too much time looking for shite. Anyone have any advice to get me moving on the storyline instead of so many side missions?

It atakes bout 2.5 seconds to press options and then quick save I do it just about every time I go into a new area.

Cleared two towers just outside Diamond City, one full of super mutants.

I found a tower of raiders fighting a Legendary Brute. He died quickly and violently by my combat shotgun.

This game is freaking addicting.

Never played a Fallout game before but thought Skyrim was awesome.

There's so much crap to do.

I was kind of drunk playing last night and think I joined the Brotherhood of Steel. That won't have any major ramifications later on huh?

What I really like about this one is that I feel like my battles are fire fights rather than just coming up on a random battle, especially in the city areas.

Yeah I learned pretty quickly I wasn't getting away with standing in the street, spraying bullets like Rambo. The gun fights feel good. Now animals and sentry bots are another story. That shite is frustrating as hell. Maybe it's because I'm only level 9 but everything feels so OP. I get one shot by bears that are twice as fast as me and the sentry bots are like twin turbo tanks.

I havn't even touched the main story yet and I'm about 25 hours in. All i do is explore so far haha

I was exploring the west of the wasteland last night and I came up on this town and nothing was there at all, and i see all the Super mutant meat bags in this section of the town, then I see about 8 dead super mutants in the town square, and out of nowhere a legendary deathclaw emerges with about 1/10th of his health gone lol. I got destroyed in about 2 seconds.

Love this game

I played last night. I had the goal of going to some town to see some people, who really cares. I didn't make it. I got sidetracked investigating areas

That's the heart and soul of this game. I started and stopped Fallout 3 like three times before it finally grabbed me. The first two nights I played, I was up till like 2 and having to get up for work at 5:30. I couldn't quit finding areas and exploring. I was a walking zombie at work, but a happy zombie.

It's greatness.

Started last night and going the sneak pistol route. I have sanctuary set up and kinda running. I know there is that joke with Bethesda games where you just pick up everything. Now I actually have to pick up every aluminum can, broken fan, and broom.

Most of the time it's just gibberish, filler. I think with this game, if you say "talk" to someone, if it just does an audio clip and doesn't bring up a text option, it's just NPC nonsense. If the character has a name, even if it doesn't trigger a quest when you first meet them, chances are they are a part of some quest that you perhaps haven't found yet.

Nick Valentine, and one of the main mission bad guys, are the only two people I've found with anything important to say. Piper to a lesser degree.
