Didn't realize there were that many perks magazines. I though I was hot shite finding 5 or 6 so far.

falloutwiki has information on what their perks are also. I've been trying to collect them as much as possible.

I'm not using any "spoilers" I am just finding and doing stuff on my own. They only thing I look for help on are the mechanics of the game. I want this ride to last a long time.

The perks are a little overwhelming. There are so many options every time I get in there.

I did have my first fallout bug last night that was pretty comical. I tried to headshot a roach in vats and it fast traveled me to another town

It's not quite as overwhelming wen you realize that the pre-reqs eliminate a lot of them from even being chosen. I really want more carrying capacity but I am doing mostly luck with some agility and intelligence.

Yea everytime I unlock a new perk, I stare at the perk tree for 5 minutes going over which one I should unlock next. So many options and variables.

I'm also lost on trying to figure what my main missions are compared to the side missions. Right now they all seemed mixed together and I'm not sure which one to do.

First time playing a fallout game and I thought you had to get FULL stars on all the specials before spending on perks. Since Luck is so aweomse I have Luck lvl 10 but no luck perks

I have since spent some on lockpicking and local leader once I figured it out. At least I can now get any Luck perk I guess.

After you get magazines and bobbleheads, etc., is there any reaason to keep them in your inventory? Is there a way to store them in your base so they actually show?

I think you can transfer them to your workbench and keep the perk since most of them are a permanent buff. Someone correct me here if I am wrong.

I've loaded up on charisma, it helps a ton when talking to people. Also working on lock picking, hacking, etc.

I need to start putting points into this. I'm tired of people telling me "naaaaaaaaaaah".

I've put more into intelligence since it will let me unlock more perks faster

Excatly and I thought it was hilarious. The mission where I go get the detective Nick out of that vault in the subway, I kill all the mob boss' guys, wreck the whole place, I come out and just convince him to let me go without a fight. Then when his dumb lady friend runs off I followed and smashed her with a sledgehammer for being a shite bag.
Dat charisma doe I see it helping out in a lot of instances.

Definitely yes to the bobbleheads. That's a constant in the series, and I think you can eventually find or build a stand to display all of them.

I would think the same with the magazines/books, but when your read them after finding them, it doesn't want to give you an option to drop it after you get your buff. I know I can go into your inventory after the fact that get rid of it then, but that's only reason I have pause about discarding them altogether.

The bobble heads cannot be removed from your inventory, so I am also hesitant. They weigh next to nothing so I just keep them.

That makes sense. So yeah, get a stand, and that's when you can finally get it out of your inventory.

Once you do grab one, though, what do you do with it? The skill is instantly awarded, so you’re left carrying around the bobblehead. Unless you choose to sell it, of course. But are the caps worth all the trouble you went through?

If you answered no, then head on over to your settlement of choice and go into Workshop mode. Under the Furniture>Miscellaneous section, you’ll find the Bobblehead Stand. Place this anywhere you’d like and you’ll be able to store (“transfer”) your bobbleheads to it.

I have found may weapons but the best one for me so far has been the 10mm pistol I got off a legendary super mutant that took me 15 minutes to kill.

I modded it one time and it does 50 damage plus 15 damage in an area of effect. Add the fact that I have gunslinger rank 3 adding 60% base damage and range and the thing has 75ish accuracy and I have a gun I'll probably never throw away. 10mm semi auto that does 95 damage per shot? Thank you very much.

Anyone found other crazy good guns yet?

I need to get more experimental. I usually stick to what I know, even giving the short hunting rifle more of a shot over some probably better guns I've come across. I've pretty much only modded my pistol to this point.
