Never had that happen and I play daily.

Is it something that happened after the latest update? Maybe uninstall, then reinstall if it’s a serious issue

I cant really say. I dont get to play much. Only thing I can think of is that I started with the disc(destroyed by kid) and then downloaded the game.

Itll be in the middle of a game and just quit. Ill have to try uninstall/reinstall.

We lost our user for UF in our dynasty. Super fast team with possible playoff berth on the table. Let me know if you are ready to take over.

After about 6 years of easy number 1 classss last year I had the number 1 but it was close.

I’ve noticed the game has so many 80 plus speed qbs now in year 12

i'm struggling to get a top 10, but i have been playing with Troy on EASY PEASY settings in the SEC (swapped out Vandy).

not sure what the strategy is. i just took a Florida head coaching job, and have already snagged several 4/5*s by week 6, but my strategy has changed since playing with Troy. with Troy, i would be lucky to have 6 commits by week 10. i was trying to spread out points across everyone i wanted. i stacked them at the skill positions since being at Florida.

i've noticed that "scouting" is a waste of "time" and possibly setting home visits. using pitches seem to be more impactful than setting a visit. and only being able to have 4 per home game is kinda dumb.

I'm looking for a digital XBox version of the game that can be installed on a laptop. It's been a struggle. I already downloaded the wrong version for console when the game came out.

I used to play regularly but it's been a good 15 years, and that was on the old 360.

The receivers constantly running into the DBs, knocking them off their routes combined with the insane sim engine has dampened my enthusiasm

My strategy for recruiting is use hard sell as soon as possible and don’t waste points on visits in season.

i saw a youtube video the other day that you don't want to use the same hard sell for too many weeks. it will hurt you if you use the same throughout the whole season for one recruit.

you can use sway to get a 4th interest and use a separate pitch style once achieved. it may take 2 weeks to unlock that 4th option, but it will eventually unlock and the you can change the pitch to keep the interest there.

Never had to use it long, usually commit within a few weeks.

It typically takes me a few weeks to get enough data to change to hard sell from send the house. After that, it typically only takes a few more weeks to commit. I usually add on points/actions as they become available when other players commit or I lose them to another school.

When a player is maxed on points, I will selectively schedule visits for players who need some extra attention. Then when more points become available I max everyone out, schedule as many visits as I can, and/or try to find a few 4 stars to make a push for at the end of the season.

This strategy gets me top 5 every season.

I'd also like to add that I do not target a full 35 during a recruiting cycle. If I have 1000 points, I try to only target around 20 players. This allows me to max out those players and helps me from getting to thin on actions. Depending on needs and what caliber players are available, that may change. I also try to never sign more than 2 players to a specific position group each year. It takes a few years, but I'll go from "needing" 27 players to only having around 14-16 "needs" each season. Then I can target 5/4 stars any position. Granted, I will take more than two and I will recruit other positions even if they aren't a need if I can find quality players.

LOLB is one that I see that often that if you have a 5 star available or 4 stars with interest, I try to target them because the next season may not have anyone of quality.

don’t forget LT as well, always tend to have to go to the portal for that position in a rebuild, as well as LOLB and LG

It took a few years to break into a top 5 class with New Mexico.

I scout everyone in the offseason, at first I’d take bust if they were 4 and 5 star. I focused all my time on a few recruits, once captured I’d go find the highest ones with no offers and get them.

Now I get 6-9 5 stars per year but it’s year 12. I’ve raised a lot of grades and have more time. What I do now is scout 30-35 players until all my time is gone in offseason. Then after week 0 I put 50 per week on my top targets unless no one else is offering then I spend like 10 or 25 on them. If I’m the 1 and have a big lead then I might go 25 even with multiple offers.

I generally stop going after guys if I’m 3rd or 4th.

Once I start to lock down players I go back for more and get ones that are unoffered.

I’m starting to cap my classes at 20-25 and take transfers to get me to 30. Then I still have to force like 5-10 to transfer every year. I try to send off jrs and seniors that aren’t developing

I have also started to have one home game for offense then the next for defense visits and back and fourth. I find it works in locks down all four guys.

They need to allow more than 4 per week.

What’s the strategy to start the year?

Focus on 10-15 recruits, get some commits, focus on 5 or so more, then hammer the transfer portal?

Any good guides on recruiting? I’m getting better, but I feel like I’m not really there yet

How do you get data?

Social media or phone call?

Started playing some H2H. Arizona is ridiculously good for tier 3 teams. Unless I match up with a tier 1 team, I’m probably scoring on every possession.

I’m also playing a bunch of bums. I used to play a good bit of ultimate team but my early new year resolution is to pretend that doesn’t exist

I fill my board with all 35 players and offer all of them a scholarship in the offseason.

Once the season starts I sort by national rank and them max out the points for as many players as I can. If there is a particular player or position that I have to have then I make sure I max out that player as well even if they aren’t in the top 10-15 on the board.

I keep these guys maxed out and are usually able to hard sell them with high accuracy by week 3. Around week 5 many of them start to commit, and I’ll then start assigning their points to the next players in line.

I never use visits. I like to offer 35 players in the offseason because many of the ones at the bottom of the list will continue to keep me in their top 8 and 5 until late in the season. If they are still needed at that point I will then try and sign them. Usually a decent amount of those players are still interested but the offseason and they’ll commit in week 1 after a visit

Yeah, I usually offer 35 then scout the non 5 star recruits

I should focus my efforts on 15 or so like you’re suggesting. Thanks, man
