Has anyone been able to get a job at their Alma Mater without starting there?
I've won a couple nattys and consistently recruit in the top 10-15 no matter where I go, but I can't get an offer to come home

I get more offers for DC than I do OC/HC which makes no sense.

Yes. I started as UGA OC to speed run building up my recruiting abilities. After 2yrs became HC at LSU

My latest dynasty season with LSU, it only scheduled me for 6 SEC games and won’t let me change the schedule (giving me an error when I try to switch an ooc game). Anybody else had this issue?
Also, another issue I wish they could fix but know they won’t. If I sign players with long hair, they don’t have long hair with a helmet on. Small potatoes, but Madden doesn’t have this issue. And can they fix the friggin number issue. Can’t change anyone’s number and my players randomly change their number. Hate it

This happened for me when I added two teams to the big 12 except it gave me 4 conference games at the end of the year.

I just did a cursory glance at my schedule before starting the latest season. Didn't check it close enough. Wound up only having 2 conference home games! My last 4 games were away so I couldn't schedule any visits.

You may want to hit that schedule regen button at the bottom.
New patch today fixes the offline dynasty bugs. They still need to fix the tuning for gameplay though.

Honestly, this game leaves a lot to be desired. I still don't get why we can't adjust attributes/abilities. Also, who thought it was a good idea to cap the coaches at level 50. I should be able to max out all of the coach abilities over the span of a 30 year career.

The patch a week or so ago wasn’t good. Hopefully they get it fixed. There are so many details they are missing though

Defense is absolutely impossible. I found it to be much more normal style of play before the patch. I haven’t played a ton so maybe there’s a placebo effect, but every game I play is 52-45 ish with huge chunk plays on both sides. I don’t mind games like that here and there but it’s pretty unenjoyable every time out

In Season 4 of my dynasty, and so far there's about 2 games a year where I can't stop the offense, and it's usually against a mediocre-to-bad team. The other games the CPU is going run-run-pass every possession and is easy to shut down. Once I get up 3 scores I just start simming on defense.

Yeah those are the two biggest non-gameplay criticisms of the game.
I don’t like that players don’t have body progression like they use to (gain weight in the offseason and occasionally gain height)

Anyone else have illegal touching penalties called against your wide receivers? Once on me on a TD pass and another the cpu had it called against it.
Also my QB fumbled an option pitch and my RB picked it up and the play was blown dead.

Funny you say this, as most said the O was incredible before and now defense is stronger. Out of curiosity,

I don’t think you have your finger on the pulse of what people have actually been saying. I put the complaints a couple of pages back.
Now the schedule thing, I’m not sure where that is coming from. I’ve got 3 offline dynasties and one online dynasty going. I’m in the 3rd season on two of them and second season on the other two and the only schedule quirk I’ve seen is on the online one where a team I played had 13 games scheduled. They weren’t playing Hawaii so I thought that was peculiar. Then again it is a team that I manually added to my schedule since they beat me in the semifinals the season before (simmed game).

Just checked and I can finally position change freshman again, so I'll pick the game back up. Hopefully the scheduling crap was fixed too but I guess I'll see in a few.
ETA: nope still can't edit schedule with custom conferences

16-1 so far in road to the CFP. Sucks I have to play all the shitters before I get to people more on my level. Most games only last two drives. I almost always get a TD/INT on the first two drive and they disconnect.

Reminds me of playing against Florida online in 08. 90% of the time the other players would come out and call the same 4 plays in the same QB Heavy formation: The streak, the QB blast, the PA pass, and the jet sweep. I played 3 straight games one night against different opponents and all 3 of them ran the Streak play 4 times in a row, all incomplete and all quit. Two of them got mad and tried to say I was cheating lol.
