Well yeah you need to engage as the character you are playing. I didn't mean let the tanks initiate... mix up of words
The general idea is to assasinate squishy targets and let the tank take hits from the hard hitters every time. Do whatever it takes to accomplish that

I just meant that I said to start the fight with the rogue and you said not to.
In my mind the badguys were always freaked out when the guy next to them dropped dead from out of nowhere.

Yeah.. initiate with an assasination ambush crit but let the tanks engage onto the melees before re-engaging as a rogue.

What counts as flanking in this game? Am I flanking when the enemy is engaged with my tank and I come from behind?

Everything I did to Morrigan in DA:O
Honestly I think it worked out as any strike from behind. I felt like sometimes even side strikes to the arm (especially on large monsters) would proc flanking bonuses.
ETA: Here is the script from DA:O on flanking. I am sure it is probably very equivalent to the DA:I one which I was unable to find. Flanking Script
My rate of posting goes up in accordance with how entertaining Ethics training is.

I really like that I can go with tactical view or just play it more action like depending in my mood or difficulty. My only complaint so far is the FOV needs to be bigger but that's common with consoles.

I mainly just use tactical to check the level.
I might need to check it a bit more to see weaknesses now that I am playing hard.

Seems like daggers have the highest paper dps in the game, the best bow I have seen is 208.

I can't find this knight enchanter path for vivienne . All I see is spirit and the three elementals. What an I doing wrong?
