I picked this game up the other night after shelving MCC until they can get it all fixed, and I have to say I am loving this game. There is a lot of stuff going on in this game. I'm not quite sure I follow the story, but I'm slowly connecting the dots.

You know you're addicted to a game when you're watching your football team play their biggest rival, and beating them, and all you can think about is what to do next in the video game. That's how I am right now.
I'm currently trying to decide if I want to play destiny or dragon age, haven't played either yet. Leaning toward destiny..

dragon age is better. Destiny is a beautiful game but Dragon Age is nice.

I played this game a bit last night. Seems absolutely massive. I got to the Hinterlands and was like O.O at all the side quests.
Took me three hours to figure out which Origin account was linked to my PSN for world import.

Advanced scouting. I haven't looked at the perks but there needs to be a Super Advanced Scout that adds picture pieces and other hidden items to the map.
I cleaned out every quest in one area and found only 2 of 12 mosaic pieces.
Found 11 of 12 in another area but without a Super Scout Perk, no way I am rewalking the entire area again.

Not all the mosaic pieces of a set are all in same area......

I believe you. But I'm feeling a little more futuristic tonight, than medieval
Don't know that much about either game. Looking forward to being surprised by what all the hype was about for both. Kinda like how I don't like watching trailers for a movie before going to see it.

Game seems very glitchy. Characters falling from the sky after loading screens, getting stuck in cutscenes and combat, and last night I couldn't swap out characters at all.
I'm also not a fan of the no health regen. Returning to camps when your supplies get low is just a chore.

Had none of this in 48 hours played.

Earlier I couldn't get any dialogue options to come up to hand in quest objectives.
My game also crashed. PS4 version

It amazes me how the PS4 is essentially a compact gaming PC and developers still optimize their games more for the xbox.

After playing a while, which character would y'all choose now?
I've got the game at home, just haven't started

Until you get oriented. Starting with a mage is the way to go. It is just a bit easier to learn the game with a character you can sit back and see more of the action with ranged attacks.

I haven't had many major problems but I have had some. Not enough to call the game glitchy since I have seen far far far worse.
I think I had to reboot one time when the character dialog hung up.
I've had a few items that I couldn't pick up. Also had a quest character who wouldn't talk to me until I reloaded the game.
I've determined some of the glitches occur if you accidentally attacked a rabbit or deer or something like that, they run off, but the game still thinks it is in combat so you can't interact with certain items.
I couldn't set a base camp earlier this evening, until I tracked down a deer and finished it off.
Sometimes you get stuck in combat stance because of woodland critters catching friendly fire. However, sometimes you aren't in combat stance and yet the game still thinks you are in combat. If you see red on the map, head off and finish off what you started and the game will then let you interact again.
Oh, sound can also be somewhat glitchy from time to time.

Didn't mean to insinuate that. Just annoyed with Sony here lately is all.

Haven't had any of these problems with 60hrs of gameplay. PS3 version.
Also. frick auto health regen. That shite ruins games for me. its such a cheap mechanic that destroys the intensity and stress of having low health, oh wait let's wait 5 seconds for my health and shields to be back to normal. Bollocks. Having to go back to camp is punishment for you playing the game poorly.
Same as how in pokemon you have to go to a healing station to heal your buds and wait 15 seconds to get them back from healing. Be more strategic and you'll rarely have to go to camp.
Give the mages a healing spell is my only gripe so far. They talk about it enough in the game that you'd think someone would have it, but they also say that healing magic is below most "real" mages.

You can make the fights challenging without designing them around what is literally a time wasting mechanic.
