Meh, it creates balance in the way items are sold etc, otherwise other class's might complain at how expensive their weapons are because everyone wants the highest dps ones or something, whereas wiz s would e able to just have decent stats all around or something

Blacksmithing is only worth it at the very highest level, in that it's basically gambling, because it takes about 50k to make a level 60 rare.. But it has a chance of being worth a million on the AH or on your character.

Probably not right now but when more crafting patterns drop and inferno materials become easier to farm.

Just started Hell at level 51 (wizard). I'm already pulling my hair out.

WTF. I just tried auction house for the first time. I tried bidding on 2 items but it said it wasnt high enough. I load up my monk and my gold has gone from 41k to 13k. What the frick

Check your last auction tab (where completed items go). I had something similar happen when buyouts failed for me. It took the gold but had it in the last tab waiting to take back.

So I just picked this bad boy up, should I go Barb or DH first? This is my first Diablo so I really have no idea what to expect... also I don't have anyone to play with so im expecting to get my arse kicked once I hit harder dungeons

this is my first diablo too. its badass. nuff said. go ranged whatever you do b/c its easier IMO in the harder levels. so a wizard or a DH is your best bet. im currently rolling a wizard and its a blast.

Finally finished normal completely solo. Diablo was a bitch, had to retool my skill selection from mobbing to boss mode. Eventually killed him though.
Act 3, Azmodan was pitiful. Killed him in almost 30 seconds without getting hit. Hell, the Siegebreaker was a harder boss in Act 3 than Azzy.

Now that I've gone through it solo I'm joining friends and running through Nightmare/Hell/Inferno. Anyone here that's doing the same, let me know.
