I do, I stack magic find on the templar's items since it adds to yours.

I agree. Act III was my favorite as well.

I don't play solo much, but when I do I use Enchantress.

I thought it was in game that they were getting access to accounts?

And is it account access (as in, is your password changed? multiple characters losing everything?) or just your items gone? The way I understood it, the pricks were getting access to some session ID that tells the server who you are, and spoofing it so the server thought they were you. If it was this way, it likely bypasses the authenticator step (as they don't actually log in as you) but would have limited access. I usually heard of only the one character being stripped (and stash of course) but i haven't really been browsing the forums to see the extent of things.

Not really sure what happened to me. I do know that if they don't reset my character, I'll be taking a long break from D3.

I probably played D2 more than any other game in my life. I'm talking 100's of days played.

That said, I made 1 Hardcore character that died at level 18.

If you run straight through everything start to finish, then I could see it being considered "short" though that makes little sense in a game like this where the whole point is multiple difficulties.

Taking your team, actually killing shite and exploring a little even inadvertently by not knowing where you're going, it'll take a lot longer. Add in 500+ deaths ( Desecrator Fire Chain Jailer) and it's a long game.

So what you're saying is that you're ready to stop being a poon and play hardcore mode? full disclosure: I've never played a hardcore toon before, but I kind of want to. The adrenaline rush you get at near death has to be about as good as you can get from gaming.

I used to like hardcore in D2. Never did much past the 70s, mainly just to make it through the game at least once to say I did.

Best part of it was playing with a buddy of mine. In the course of a week, he must have had to recreate his character 12 times. No idea why he kept trying hardcore
