Is anyone else an achievement whore? I truly have an issue with doing dumb shite for achievements.

Azmodan was an aggravating boss alone on Nightmare. I just Meteor Shower'ed and kited him around pillars. Meteor Shower one shots his minion portals.

Azmodan's such a punk bitch, too. He keeps making excuses. "Okay, so you made it here. Big deal. My homie's in your keep!" And then you kill his buddy, and he's like "Well... that doesn't matter. frick him. You're still done." My favorite is that he's CLEARLY using siege weapons to make shite happen, and when you destroy them, he's like "BIG DEAL! I don't even need them!" I'm sitting here thinking "Bro, you sound like someone who is really reaching here. Maybe if you would stop making excuses, you wouldn't be on the verge of exploding some sweet blues on the ground for me to salvage!"

People will do anything for ranks or achievements. Its why things like four square and rewards cards work. If you give anyone levels or percentage bars to fill, they will go nuts.

My roommate hates it because he'll want to arena on WoW, and I'll be off killing turkeys or some shite, which pisses him off because we have school and social lives during the semester so we have to get our gaming done now.
That said, the gear is going to be about getting all greens. That's where the real shite is. I'm sure they'll also release tiers eventually, because the WoW tier system and PVP gear is what keeps people playing. I can almost guarantee that Diablo 3 is going to have next level support since people can't mod like before. Maybe not to the extent of WoW, but they video game world has changed too much for the "wait for the next expansion" model. Especially when I've casually played to 48 in the first week.

Melee in Inferno past Act II... impossible. I was seeing that white mobs hit for 55k. That said, the Inferno team couldn't even clear it. Inferno's going to be for the "I farmed this gear for a year" people. It's not meant for casual or semi-dedicated players. Inferno is a "frick MY LIFE, I frickING HATE THIS STUPID arse GAME" difficulty.

Not to mention. Hell's Lords are not very smart with their battle plans. Who leaves their invasion plans just hanging out on the ground? Very counterproductive. If I was in charge of Hell, this game would have been one Act of me laughing as millions of people die repeatedly and rage quit.
One last observation. How common is it in this land that people are just destroying rare weapons for dust? Can you imagine getting a Michael Jordan rookie card in pristine condition after fighting some guy at a bar, and you just turn around and burn it for ashes? Boss move, but holy shite.
