I seem to have great luck finding where to go. I've played most of it with one of my distant irl friends and he's always bitching that he can't find shite and I find it in 2 seconds

One of my coworkers bought it, logged on for a few minutes and played with another coworker and decided the game sucks because he had no idea what was going on I told him to start from the beginning of the game, but he doesn't sound like he's willing to give it another try.

Let me know when the servers are back up and running. I was just facing off against the skeleton king.

Why do you people need to know where to go? I hate when I pick the right way.. just explore the entire dungeon and you're guaranteed to find the objective eventually.

Sounds like a non-gamer or a FPS only gamer. Anyone who has gamed for very long knows about this game.

He's always known about Diablo but never played it. He's a pretty avid gamer, and a WoW addict. I was really surprised by his reaction to d3. D3 has been a great game, I'm hooked. I can't wait to up the difficulty 1 notch.

Gold selling already. That's sad. I've sold easily over 100,000g worth of crafted gear.

As for finding gear, wear magic finding boosts. Topaz in a head socket is good for a nice amount.

shite, so far the crafting gear is getting better than gear I find anyway. I am crafting rare items already.

Yeah he should be familiar with Blizz games, but it explains why he wants everything handed to him. I love the finding out what to do and exploring every corner of the map. I don't understand gamers that are looking for a blueprint to beating the game, the journey is the best part.

I have never crafted, not really familiar with it too much.

Do you train for 2K gold then train more or what? how exactly do you craft something?

Yeah your crafting is really only limited by those stupid blacksmith pages, which I am only now finding on nightmare.

Oh no doubt. I like finding random dungeons and clearing them out. But if I find the objective first I'm not going to complain.

I just hit my first rank that needs those things and I was wondering how the F do I get them.

The way I understand, which I heard it straight from the designers' mouth on youtube, is that they designed it so you don't have to use your gold to buy shite from merchants really. They designed it so almost all of your superfluous gold will be funneled into crafting and jewlery.

To level your crafting, you just spend the 2k gold or however much it is for that segment and it levels. Crafting items has no bearing on the level of your crafting, but as you level your crafting you can make better and better items. I got to a point where I was crafting rare items that I couldn't use for 5 levels or so because my crafting outleveled my actual level .
