Picked up this and Max Payne 3 at midnight release last night. Played MP3 while D3 installed. I had Crossfit at 6am so I went to sleep.
Just finished playing for about an hour (I'm in the Cathedral)
Level 4 Monk doing work!
I can't help but grin sometimes when I find awesome loot. The game is so much fun.

i wonder if the after-work rush will be worse than the 12am pst launch last night? maybe not since it should be staggered?

got it loaded and played a wizard to lvl 4 - its pretty damn fun, i have to admit.
my fiance is pissed cause she is on Vista and it gives her some crap when loading, and im out of town till tomorrow - so she cannot play.

I have been trying to install the game and I can't get past the "checking for updates" window. Is this because of the servers being busy/down? Says it failed to run a required "Agent". What gives? Thanks!

so havnt played diablo 1 or 2 but seriously thinking about getting 3 b/c i got buddies around me where im at that are getting it and their pretty stoked about. plus all the talk on here has almost made me a believer in it. is it worth getting if havnt played the others? also currently playing the badassness that is BF3 to take up my free time atm, do yall think D3 will interest me enough to take me away from that?

I am at the end of ACT II. I have been taking my time and not rushing. The game is great and I am enjoying the heck out of it. It is beyond what I expected.
If anyone is playing through the first time, I would advise to not rush to get pass the Skeleton King. I would recommend leveling up to at least level 9 and have some "decent" gear before continuing.
