If you're just switching the armor out between Titans, wouldn't it be automatic 30?

Really need to get my lock up high enough to raid. What's the best way? Bounties for rep then buy legendaries with vanguard marks?

My advice.
Obviously this is sped up if you saved gear for him from your other characters. I have got my two alts to 28 in about a week.
1. Get to lv 20 (story and bounties)
2. Buy an exotic from Xur (Helmet works the best but get what you can)
3. Rank Vanguard up to rank 2 first. Buy one of the Vanguard pieces that cost 65 marks (chest, arms, feet)
4. Then switch to a faction class item. when you do this it coverts vanguard and crucible rep to that faction. Rank that up to rank 2. Buy a 65 crucible mark item from that faction.
With an exotic, two legendaries and a blue, you can reach lv 28.
Bounties are the eastiest way to build rep. Somebody helping you with the nightfall at 25 will speed this up. The weekly on lv 28 will also give you like a 400 rep bonus.

If you are wondering why I said switch rep, it is because you can only get 100 marks for vanguard and crucible in a week. I was just stating the fastest way. If you want to buy all vanguard items that is fine but you will have to wait for a reset on the marks cap.

Just got another exotic bounty. Looks like it's called Tolands Legacy and will get me a pulse rifle. Hopefully this isn't as much of a pain as that stupid hand Cannon
