I'm so closing to maxing out my Titan subclass that I can taste it. I'm 1 or 2 bounties away.

I'm so close to doing the raid again and getting the same boots for a third time I can taste it.
Raid four times with Hunter: one piece of raid gear to show for it.
Three times with Titan: two pieces of raid gear.
Zero raid weapons.

Does XP help level up weapons and/or armor? Obviously you have to use the particular weapon to level it up, but is it the XP that builds armor? If so, I'd assume bounties are the quickest way, right?
So, now that I'm maxed out at 29 with my hunter until I can raid, I've been trying to get my titan up there, too. I gambled on the helmet engram from Xur for the second time and came away with the Helm of Inmost Light for my titan. I was pretty stoked. I honestly would've rathered either of the other two (An Insurmountable Skullfront looks bad arse), but I'm still pretty happy coming away with an exotic helmet for him this early. He's at 26 now, so I was asking about leveling up armor for his purposes.

fricking right, finally get something for pre-ordering the deluxe edition. Haven't seen any benefit at all to that yet.
