It's not that bad. You have to finish a weekly or nightfall strike, then complete 25 more strikes (you can do the level 8 on Earth over and over if you want), then get 10,000 points in crucible. You get 50 points for a hunter or warlock kill and 100 for a titan kill. I thought this was going to take me forever, but I got it in about 12 control matches.
You can take your time with the strikes this week, though, because once you finish those you have to buy some gun frame from Xur for a strange coin before you go to the crucible part.

The new scout rifle I got is actually pretty sweet. But I still would like another high powered option. The best alternative right now is my maxed out 242 auto, 260 Un maxed exotic hand Cannon that sucks. I've been grinding on Crucible trying to get some weapons from there because these ain't cutting it

I finally got to play some dragon age last night and was too tired so I started drifting off right away.

Every game is for me now. I stayed home this weekend for the first time in forever and I thought I could play destiny all night. Just did not happen. Age sucks. I remember SOCOM back in high school I never wanted to sleep while playing that.

I started the update this morning and just checked on it - I've downloaded 797 mb of the 2.44 gb update. In two hours.
My internet blows, but it's not that awful.

Voice chat in random strikes and PVP is now enabled. I wonder if anybody has screwed my mom in PVP recently

I think it's just voice chat with your team. Also I believe they said iron banner comes tomorrow if the update goes smoothly. .

I'm not chatting with teammates unless they're my friends for a number of reasons, primarily because it's more fun to talk to friends, and I can't stand the endless racism from 12 year olds.
