Use D-Pad to move over and change those attributes before finalizing
I usually don't even care and just want to get righ to it, but since the option is there I may make a different character. Purple dreads and some disfigured facial features or something

I would have liked to but no big deal. My knight will be covered in armor anyway. Was just worried I missed something new or important.

Maybe if you have a specific question in which you determine if it might be rushed I can try and address that.
Being hard is just a part of the game.
Is the world as magnificent? Are the characters as unique and interesting?
I know you haven't gotten far enough in to answer that question yet though.

Nah. Basically you can design your character cosmetically .That's about it

Haven't played enough to give you a complete answer then.

Demon piglets. Wtf
No shite, those frickers chased me all around the courtyard!

I wish I could fashion armor out of their corpses, those frickers were nigh invincible.

They must be the evil spawn of the Drakes Archives and Undead Burg boars

Yea I've been trying to keep my posts basic and spoiler free.
To the Bammer that liked No Mans Wharf, the boss was awesome.

I kept seeing bloodstains wondering what the hell was killing people, didn't think anything of it when I saw those pigs….until I swung at one.

I was able to kill all three piglets...if you do a quick sword strike and roll backwards they don't have a chance to hit you. They key is to only get one to follow you at a time by inching towards them until only one of them follows you.

They still suck though... Made it to the cathedral, familiar foe in there

I ended up restarting because my deprived character was getting worked.
You start off with a stat baseline of about 6 across the board. it was hell leveling up skills to use a few decent weapons. I can see the utility of the deprived class for customization purposes, but getting over the hump was too much work for a first playthrough.
Got a warrior to the first town area last night. May have to stop visiting this thread for a while though, some of you guys are getting too far in the game and will end up ruining any surprises lying ahead.

yeah, I listened to your reasoning about selecting deprived and tried it out last night. After screwing around to get the feel of the game, I decided my new character tonight won't be deprived.

I'm starting a new character tonight as well. A knight. Because I want an actual sword to start the game with.

heh, warrior starts with a broken short sword.
quickly upgraded to a morning star that I found.

I found a short sword, and ended up breaking it in about 15 minutes.

weapon durability is absolute shite, to say the least.
hope that we get a means of repairing weapons via bonfire. Having to travel back to the blacksmith every 10 seconds will quickly become tiresome.

You can get a Fire sword and ths sword from the white knight that does lightening damage in the forest. Good early game weapons.
