MW2 on 360 was my peak COD skills. Damn I kind of miss COD on controller. I couldn’t play a shooter on a controller to save my life now. Switched to PC back in 2014.
Tried Halo Infinite MP with controller on PC and I was worse than with KB/M.

I've never been able to do M/KB. I play PC with a PS5 controller. Don't judge me.

LESI A-squad skunked plenty of lobbies in our peak on MW2, BO, MW3, and BO2. Now we are all 35+ years old, with wives, children, and responsibilities. glory days are long gone.

Has skill based matching making been discussed yet? I noticed this while playing, because some lobbies would be absolutely braindead and we would just destroy them and then a game later it would be some true gamers that were pretty good. You could tell that it was trying to figure out were to place me.

SBMM exists in pretty much any remotely competitive shooter these days. It's a huge turnoff to most, but developers stick to the "it has a better retention rate with newer players" narrative.

Yeah, I know that most games do but I wish that they would do like a lot of of games and have ranked/unranked and not try to be secretive about it existing.

Even in Unranked games are using what’s called MMR.

Thanks for updating this thread as they come up. I don't seek this info out.
I'm looking forward to this campaign. I know that sounds stupid after dropping 70 bucks on a multiplayer game, but it just looks really good.

does it really matter? it's all crossplay with an in-game friends list. just buy from where ever you want. it's the same price regardless.

I’m pumped for this one. I liked MW and WarZone but got burnt out after a year or so. Hopefully this one keeps my interest. Like the original 2, I’m actually more more pumped for the campaign for this one with Soap, Gaz, Ghost and Price all on one team. I was and still am a huge fan of the campaigns of the first two and the characters from those so to see them all together (which obviously wasn’t possible back then) is exciting

Our crew of 10-12 still plays gunfight customs 1-2 nights a week. Really looking forward to its release on here as well as a new WZ
