lol. ditto. i was a little nervous about “omni-movement” because I'm more of a run, jump, mantle, and shoot only type of guy. but it hasn’t held me back not being able to take advantage of the omni-movement.
there was one moment last night where i dove into the B flag and laying down in my back in a puddle, only my head showing, and I was blasting fools funneling towards the flag. Until i saw a kill cam I had no idea i did that.

One thing i find tricky is when people lay prone off to the side or on their back. I have always just been used to people laying forward prone for all of these years. When i see someone laying in a different stance like that my mind does a quick "thats a dead body" and i delay for half a second in shooting them and thats enough for me to die.

Yup, thankfully I'm fully retired from playing CoD and only play CFB25 which is equally as frustrating.

Can someone explain the movement to me and what's different from previous COD games? I haven't played in a good while so I'm not sure what I'm seeing and if it's bad or not

Imagine dolphin diving forward like the older CoDs but being able to rotate a full 180 while shooting, all the while landing on your arse and be able to sit in that position.
There's a lot more WTF moments when getting killed on BO6.

I like the Omni so far. I loled when i accidentally power slid backwards and killed a guy.
I also lol when Im randomly strolling through the map and I see someone reverse dolphin dive off a ledge two stories high.
However I may not feel the same way once the no life’s begin to master it.

SBMM is going to shite all over my ray of hope here, but I’m kinda hoping there will always be fresh noobs in BLOPs 6 due to it being released on Xbox Game Pass.

I really wish you could personalize your crossplat. I’d like to not play with the PC guys rocking 350fps with aim assisted modded controllers to boot. If I could just select Xbox/PS5 would be nice.
It’s taking forever to just level up the XM4. 40 plus fricking levels. Only half way there and they doing that stupid thing where you have to level other guns to get attachments. Hate it. Need a double xp weekend stat.
I think I like the TTK. Seems okay.
I hate the map with the bridges/water/boats…lowtown I think.
Otherwise I’m having fun.

I used the XM4 all day yesterday and got it to gold and yet the gun still wasn’t max level. Pretty ridiculous.

yep, long been an issue with X is that you either disable crossplay for all games or you play with PC Sweats

And never find a lobby because nobody disables it.
It should automatically have console crossplay built in when you install the game. That way everyone on console is set. Then if you want to add PC into the mix go into settings and have an option for that.

Sadly mouse and key pc players will always have an advantage in fps multiplayer games

As usual. Hackers on day 1. Sad that the thousands of hackers in mw3 just moved right over to bo6. Sad day for treyarc. They used to stop cheating. Not anymore. 2 people i know had the hacks day 1 and been using them since. I don't play with them. I change Xbox settings to Xbox only. Then you ja e the Xbox account ms on pc using gamepass so they can cheat also.
As far as game, my only complaint is subs are beaming people cross map and also the engine of the game needs to be cleaned up. Lots of glitchy movt and frame rating going on. Enemies are shooting people who they dont even see them till after they die and they are right in front of them. The "Ames AR" seems to be my go to weapon. I play search n destroy mostly.

This gave Is so much fun it’s incredible. The movement is butter and fluid. The guns are great and the ttk is good.
We turned off crossplay and get into games instant. I recommend it.

You’re getting downvoted but it’s true that controller is still king for cod. All the pros know that aim assist is king.
Still a few godly players on mouse and key but a controller with a pc would be considered meta.

Top WZ players are controller. CDL are controllers. I dunno how it can even be challenged.
Maybe they think PC = MnK which is just not true
I will say MnK is better in CSGO and R6S but you aren’t moving the same.

Zombies is fun. Multiplayer maps are absolutely trash, way too small for the fast movement. They are decent on Search and Destroy though
