That game was awesome and too ahead of its time. I miss those massive battles.

Y'all remember Tribes back in the day? That game blew my mind and was one of the first online shooters I played. The scale of the battles was unheard of in the late 90s. It's pretty amazing that something like that could be played on 56k networks. Tribes 2 took it to the next level with 128 players on giant maps.

It is also rumored to be a current-generation exclusive and won’t come to the PS4 and Xbox One.

That’s pretty cool.

Screenshots look promising. If they capture the BF3 gunplay...not Bf4. Battlefield will back in the mix....BR or Not.

Bf3 gunplay was literally the smoothest and best ever from a FPS.

BF3 and BF4 had like the same exact gunplay?

Not at all IMO. Maps effect gunplay. Weapons were different. They took a step back in bf4. I didn’t hate it but it wasn’t the same and it def wasn’t as good.

BF3 was the superior product.

I always took it as a map preference. I feel 4 is more polished and I think I had more fun with it, but 3 was the one that took on the shooter genre by force, went up against the mighty COD, and came away victorious, so it's always going to hold a special place with a lot of gamers.

I remember all the e-peen SPM threads Croacka would post. BF3 was for the more sophisticated gamer who had moved beyond K/D #pinkyout

Weapn mechanics and bullet dynamics were basically the exact same from 3 to 4

The maps on 4 were definitely trash though

Did not feel the same to many. Others agree. ADS felt sluggish. Just all around didn’t feel as fluid as BF4. Maybe they were the same but something else in the engine effected the outcome. I don’t know. Not as clean IMO.

I always felt like the gunplay in BF3 was better than BF4, even though they were similar.

The best gunlplay ever was in MoH Warfighter...MW2019 is a very close second.

Since selling copies is the end all be all. Only reason MW3 sold so many copies was because it was coming off one of the all time great CODs in OG BLOPS.

BF3 was such a good game, they basically reskinned it into 4 and even had to add the BF3 maps to it.

And it sold 30 million the year after and year after.
It didn't hurt COD in the slightest.

That doesn't mean it wasn't a good game.
