I've been busy recently and haven't played much (also playing through BioShock completely for the first time, so that's taken up most of what little gaming time I've had), but I need to get back into BF1 again ahead of the new DLC. I haven't checked out the new map yet, but I will as soon as I get back home tomorrow.

I was testing the new guns out on the CTE servers and the new assault weapon is box fed like a MG. 80+1 rds

I finally checked out the new Lupkøw Pass map and enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to trying out the rest of the DLC today!

Unlocked one assault weapon and played the 1916 operation. Ended up putting up a successful defense and didn't get to see the second part of the op.
So far, the maps seem okay. Always happy for more variety, in any event.

I got frustrated last night playing assault. I haven't played that in awhile but was trying to work through the service assignments. Had to go play conquest to get me out of that blood bath of supply drop.

Play it on hardcore. Go for the wings. Much easier. I'm like 10 kills away with a handgun to get the tripod support gun

the first time I had to do that for a medal task it took me a ridiculous amount of time. but once I was finished it felt like a light bulb went off in my head and now I'm pretty lethal with it on the attacking side of an operation. I basically either shoot all 5 as fast as I can or I wait until I can pin point the shot. it helps to watch the first one because elevation/the slope of the ground the mortar is on has a pretty drastic effect on shot placement

These new maps are incredible. I'm so glad they updated the game. Was getting a little old. One thing I notice are the maps are so large and perfect for sniping. I hope to play all night Friday.

I jumped in with you last night for a minute but I was trying to do like 15 different things in between lives. plus the game was almost over so I just cut it off afterwards. I'll probably be on a good bit tonight
