Cant find the beta anywhere on gamepass, what am I missing?

I searched 2042 in the store and the logo says open beta or something to that effect. Then choose the one that says install via gamepass

There's a 9gb beta and 17gb one. The 17gb one is for series x/s.

Can you play the beta today? I downloaded the beta and went to click on it and it said if you have EA Play or have pre ordered you can? About to pre order it I guess.

This is so meh.
I think the only thing this game would have going for it is the Portal idea. I’ll play BF3 maps and weapons with upgraded graphics and mechanics till I’m blue in the face.

i'm watching a few of these twitch streams and it looks like they should've called this Battlefield 4.5.
i mean, i'm sure it's good, but nothing about it looks groundbreaking. the "it's just another call of duty" argument can be used here for battlefield.

I mean I just have a few weapons and a few soldiers and it’s one map. I don’t want to judge it by just this as it will have a ton to offer.
I’m not out. I’m just not grabbed by the dick like I thought I would be.
Also why are the soldiers on the enemy team the exact same as my team? This is really dumb.

I just shot an enemy five times with a marksman rifle close range and he runs through it and punched me. Guess who lost that fight?

Does soldier movement feel as fast as it looks? The alpha footage looks like super soldiers running around from what I have seen

The soldiers are really quick. I think I need to tinker with some of my settings to get it feeling right.
I did get a chance to play in a chopper with a really good pilot. We basically stayed in one chopper all match and really wrecked shite. Chopper gunning is back boys!

I think it looks great.
Don’t care if it’s not groundbreaking. Just give me good graphics, good gun play, and good movement.

I’m probably in the minority opinion on this but I wish soldier movement went back to a more ‘weighted’ feel. Regardless, I will give it a shot because I enjoyed BF3 and 4
