Already got Banjo Kazooie on xbox. Actually replayed not long ago. Diddy Kong would be awesome. Also played the star wars pod racer when it was released

I think Microsoft and Nintendo would need to come to some sort of agreement for this to happen.

They already did this with Banjo-Kazooie.

I've played OoT exactly once. Have never replayed it because I believe doing so would tarnish the memory I have of my play through. It was so perfect, another play through would not live up

Is it weird that they haven't even announced when this will be available? Late October was mentioned originally, but I figured they would have an exact date by now.

This is Nintendo, baw. They could announce a Switch Online Plus Direct and it goes live by the time the video ends.

In that case I defer to my comment from page 1.

For me it just depends on how much more they want. If it's an additional $20, I'll probably pass

They're going to need to add a whole lot to this for me to pay more than double what I'm paying now.

I'll wait until they add more to the 64 library before I consider it.

Trying to figure out what all is involved here to see if it is worth it to me.

By that, I believe that this is also tied to the expansion pass for Animal Crossing, which is about $25 per person if you buy it outright. And I have multiple kids who all play that game, so the family expansion pass is looking like a decent option.

That would be worth it if we played that game. If it comes with that X-Pac I can see why someone who plays that game would get it.

Come on Nintendo, add in the Smash Bros fighters with my sub and you've got a deal!

The controllers are definitely a bit wonky on the 64, they're really wanting people to order the 64 controller.

The other thing that bugs me is the 4:3 resolution. I have my OG 64 hooked up to a newish HDtv and even though it may stretch it a bit, at least I still get the whole screen to play. The 64 does the 4:3 box like the other emulators on the switch, but unlike the nes or SNES where it's liveable, it's really frustrating for a game like Zelda where you're trying to look out or focus on multiple enemies at a time.

Looks like a whole-lotta input lag and crappy emulation. Hell, the net code is so bad that some of these games are unplayable online. Emulation is still a hell of a lot better than this service from what it seems. At this point, I’d almost rather have the virtual console shop like with the previous two consoles.

We live a world where a company was able to port Witcher 3 to the Switch beautifully......... And Nintendo can't even get Mario kart 64 to run properly on it
