finally got the invite from Amazon to place an order. I was on a cruise when Nintendo sent me the invite, and I didn't have the internet package, so I missed out. Amazon had it delivered within 3 hours of the order lol.
Now it's hiding in my office for our boys' christmas present.

I bought one for my niece, didn't have the fortitude to make her wait until Christmas because her switch was completely worn out. Gave it to her this weekend, she's having a blast with it. Gave her the MK version and a game card for DK Bananza.

lol I have plenty of fortitude because my kids are spoiled little shits. If I give it to them now they'll wonder why their christmas haul was so minimal. Not this year my friends....fool me once, shame on you. Fool me....I won't get fooled again

Nintendo Reportedly 'Almost Discouraging' Switch 2 Development as Studios Told to Launch Games on Switch 1 and Rely on Backwards Compatibility Instead

How on earth are dev kits still scarce when the console has been out for nearly 3 months?

Nintendo needs to get their heads out of their asses with Switch 2 updates for Switch 1 games.
I dream of a day where I can play the Xenoblade games at some combination of either 60 FPS and/or resolution above 720p.
The pessimist in my thinks these upgrades are going to be few and far between with publishers mostly going the "Remastered" route and releasing for full price.

Nintendo are run by the most retarded suits on planet earth. They are extremely paranoid and desperate to not have their new Switch 2 get jail broken so they have gone to these extreme lengths to limit access to the dev kit to avoid the inevitable… even if it at their product’s detriment.

Getting a ton of ads for these on TikTok for sale in the TikTok shop. 3 months after launch and they're showing up on TikTok drop shipping sites, this cannot be a good sign.

There's often 1 available at local Walmart or Target stores. Metroid and some other mainline Mario/Zelda releases will open the wallets of the hesitant.
