I think the animations are what makes combat so satisfying. You feel heroic, rather than like a guy who just learned the rudiments of sword-fighting.
I actually think it has a lot in common with Kingdoms of Amalur.

Great observation Yeah, definately. I love the animations.
in the early levels, I feel like a heroic badass and not just some newborn wimp fighting level 1 squirrels to collect peanuts for Old Lady Agnus, and that is appealing to me.

a free 2 play Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game based on the Dungeons&Dragons ruleset.

Yes. I like it.

tomorrow i will organize everyones character name into a new thread and get a discussion thread up
might even start a guild if im feeling inspired.
I feel this game will be more of a "play for an hour or two once or twice a week" type of game more than a '40 hour a week job' type of game, for me, personally.
which is still a large fraction of my gaming time.
im going offline for the night
but

might even start a guild if im feeling inspired.

I work offshore so Im only home 2 weeks a month. I usually can do some serious damage in gaming hours during that. But I play ALOT of DoTA2. Just got tix to Internation 3 in Seattle for Aug.

Anyone having issues with the game suddenly freezing when your playing? Just started happening when I tried to get on lastnight and still happening this morning.
