It’s the same “arrogant, snarky girl boss” trope that these studios have been dead set on pushing. It’s tired, it’s played out and it has never resonated with audiences. If they wanted me to get behind their main character, maybe they should have picked a scene where she wasn’t being an insufferable bitch to the only character she interacts with.

Given that ND is known for and built its rep on having the best of the best production value industry wide and the explosive cost of AAA games now I have seen estimates that this game will need 12 million to break even

Remember didnt spider man 2 barely break even at 8 million? This game is going to cost a HELL of a lot more to make. Although to be fair a big part os spider man needing so much can probably be choked up to horribly Insomnia handled production, but are we going to sit here and pretend Neil Cuckman, a guy who couldnt even make a game Bungies bankrupt asses would say ok on, can run a production on budget?

Hopefully, like woke jurassic park survival. A release date just ceases to exist. This shite doesn't sell. Investors need to start slapping these folks.

I agree the leaks are almost certainly fake. Typically Sony runs an extremely tight ship. Leaks from companies like Ubisoft, SQE, and at times fromsoft (them because of how popular they are not because they’re poorly run) can be accurate.

This may be true from a technical standpoint. I’d argue their games have remained at or near the cutting edge or top of the league in terms of polish and anything falls under the technical aspect ranging from sound design which was impeccable in last of us two to gameplay , etc.


As far as their narratives delivering which if we are honest that’s what most of their players want over the above, uncharted 4 was a complete step back because Niel the staunch feminist arrogantly fired Amy Henning, a woman, because people were rightly calling her out as the true mind behind the last of us. Then he gave us the opportunity of a life time with his own self pet project the first that he was solely responsible for, the last of us 2. I know you like the story but if you’re honest with yourself you’re in the vast minority

I agree I mostly prefer games with a set protagonist. Outside of fromsoft and rare others like lie of P or bg3 it’s by far the best way to tell a good story.

Also no one cares what you spend your money on. By all means, buy the complete story slop they’re about to push out, I am confident its gameplay and graphics will be very good.

Also the complaints are against the near decade old tired out trope of the ugly girl boss. Jack was a man. Men can often be bald or have very short buzz cuts, it’s normal.

Enjoy this game. Since they cancelled last of 3 since 3 was such a failure it’ll likely be their last before Sony adds them to graveyard of once great studios
