Must play games for switch?

Thinking about getting a switch lite for my cruise in January. Are they any must play games?
I know I will get Pokémon (big fan when I was a kid) and my brother already has Zelda that I can borrow.

It was the first game I got for the Switch. I recently started over a few months ago. The game is just incredible. It's such a fun game. I don't know how anyone who enjoyed other 3D Mario games could possibly dislike it. Also, the little bits of 2D Mario in each level are so well done, too. I think I have BOTW as my favorite Switch game, but Odyssey isn't too far behind.

You'll have a selection of Pokemon games to choose from:
Either Sword or Shield
Either the new Diamond or the new Pearl
Either Let's Go Pikachu or Let's Go Eevee
New Pokemon Snap (if you liked N64 Pokemon Snap)
Animal Crossing New Horizons
Mario Rabbids is good and it's usually on sale pretty cheap.

Witcher 3
Metroid Dread
Mario Kart

Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. They are both really anime but great games with really good battle systems.

There are some great recommendations in this thread, but I want to second the Xenoblade Chronicles games because I enjoyed them so much.
Also, if you like Pokemon I think you would like Shin Megami Tensei V.

You gotttttta play Mario Odyssey, its one of the coolest games I've ever played. Pretty cheap nowadays too.
