the problem with that is its the same as the show. sure u can spend hours and hours working the auction house but the time spent comes out to about the same as a minimum wage job.

Yeah that’s what I meant when I said MUT is soulless. If you’ve got time and you absolutely love Madden, you can build a quality team without dropping money. However, you can’t become attached to cards and it’s a constant grind.

I did it for a few months last year and that was enough for me. It just becomes too much.

For me personally I like a good sim league. You can find them on Reddit or if you have discord they advertise there. Check OP sports as well.

Holy hell the music in this game is atrocious.

Also, I haven't played madden in years and what you guys were saying about the oline is absolutely true. Every run play has the DT pushing linemen into the spot where the handoff is at. First 10 rushes with the Saints on Pro difficulty gave me 7 yards, and theres nothing I can do about it. They honestly have defenders on your RB at the moment the ball is given off. Unreal.

Oh and I also had an OLB make an amazing 18' vertical leap to pick off Brees on a deep ball.

The online gameplay is astrocious. I pay $100 a month in blazing fast internet and the game is constantly slowing down and then speeding up while in game. And it’s not just one game. It’s every game

I found one so far. I'll have to post it when I get back on. I can't remember the formation name but it's shotgun with three wide left and 1 wide (tight end) right, rb on the right side next to qb. The play is PA crosses I think. I'll post later tonight the exact name

Eta..y trey flex was the formation. PA crosses, the inside slot wr is the target.

ps4 league anyone? I like draft leagues, don't care how many people are in it just like to have 1 going

ive also started an offline lg and turned up the run blocking slider a bit and it def helps. I turned it up like 15 and I'm getting about 130 to 150 rushing a game

Something else I found to help the run game, I use alot of runs out of shotgun and sometimes the cpu takes control behind the line and wants to force the rb in a different direction. To combat this I flip the play (right stick) in the direction I want to run, even if it's already in that direction. I also turned up run blocking and turned down tackling. Also, don't hit sprint until after you have a hole. Pick a hole, hit it and then sprint. The new precision moves seem to be the best as well.

Eta... 11 games in and I finally broke out with Kamara playing all-pro. First game over 70 yards and he eventually finished over 150. Broke a few great runs.

I have success running stretch plays, only running play I run.

Just had a game breaking bug that had me break a controller. CPU picked me off at the goal line and I tackled him at his own 2 but there was a hold on me during the return. They spot the ball at MY 2 yard line! Essentially a 96 yard penalty.

I’m so frustrated with the CPU’s ability to intercept every single pass I throw yet balls hit my fricking guys in the face and I can’t pick it off

Repackaged game every year. Some years are worse than others 2018 was very bad. I have had enough they don't have any motivation to fix the running game. Now this new player motion feature slows the offense down while the defense remains warped. The game play just sucks. You have to run the same plays and can't ever mix it up with screens.

The graphics are absolutely phenomenal and it seems they make progress every year which is hard to do. I like the feature of the draft classes importing legendary players. They have cleaned up the presentation but it all comes back to game play. It's not good and gets worse with no end in sight.

The playbooks have been the same for as long as I can remember and many plays just don't work period no matter how good the O line was. Recently, there has been this CPU interception fest and LB and Dbs can jump ridiculously in the air. You can fit anything into tight spaces in red zone. Too many bullet balls and it's never where only the WR can get it. It's slant and hope he catches it when hit.

No new modernized offensive concepts of RPO plays. I can't put that kind of cash into a game every year until they take the game play complaints seriously.

I’m totally with you on the gameplay complaints, but this game is pretty good, also I’m gonna give them my money every year regardless so I just go with it. I need updated rosters every year. It’s something I’ve been doing since Super Nintendo lol

This game is infuriating me.

I was pretty decent online in Madden 17, I had a winning record. I skipped 18 and just bought Madden 19.

I’m 0-6 so far on Madden 19. I just can’t seem to stop throwing picks. Every game I have at minimum 3 or 4 interceptions, including one game where I threw seven (7!!). I think my biggest problem is that I use bullet pass a lot, which get picked off by lurking LB or DBs anywhere close to my WR. But every time I try touch or lob passes, I feel like it’s just giving the defenders more time to get beneath the ball. These are getting picked off too.

On the flip side, my defenders can’t make any picks at all, they drop them or just watch them go by despite me mashing Y. What am I missing here? I refuse to believe that all these people online have perfect timing on pressing Y.

I feel like as I get older, I am becoming trash at games that I used to play all the time and love, but that’s a whole different subject.

Don’t mash y. It’s all about timing. They fixed that last year. It was garbage that in M17 that you can hold down Y/triangle from the moment the ball is snapped and if it’s thrown in your direction, it’s a pick.

It isn’t that hard to get used to.
