Love this game. Have probably played it a dozen times but for some reason I don't think I've ever finished it. Maybe #13 is the lucky number.

Its showing its free for me, and supposedly they patched it to fix all the bugs that were there when they initially put it on the store.

Got through the “first disc” last night. Having a blast. I still suck at the additions that are more than 3 clicks, so some things haven’t changed from being a kid lol. It still says “do not remove memory card” when you save, talk about nostalgia

Really wish there was a mod that just removed having to do the input on additions.
I would play this game again if that system was not in place.

I don’t remember this as a kid but a buddy of mine informed me that there is an item you can buy at the end of disc 2 that auto completes the additions but it’s stupid expensive. He said he did a money cheat to get it, didn’t ask how the hell he did that but could be worth looking into
I pretty much just gave up on the long additions and stick to the shorter ones. The shorter ones provide more SP a lot of the times anyway, I’ll take the small damage difference

Edit: I did not know of the ultimate wargod. Maybe I can just cheatcode it in to the start of the game on pc.

I’ve been wanting a remake of this game for years. I’m really enjoying playing through it again. I don’t remember being so bad at the dragoon additions on PS1 but I really struggle getting past 1 or 2. For the normal additions I’m decent. This and Final Fantasy VII were my favorite RPG’s on PS1.

You don't notice the input lag on modern TVs until you play on an old console on an old CRT TV, and then your mind is blown.
