Knowing Elder Scrolls 6 is in the works, what region do you suppose it will encompass?

I am guessing Hammerfell & High Rock reboot

Or Valenwood/Elsweyr

No way they just do a single region, right?

It's actually been announced it's in the works? If so, hopefully Black Marsh.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Doing a google news search on it shows nothing but the multitude of clickbait sites that are going off of nothing but speculation.

Bethesda boss Todd Howard stated at E3 2016 that Bethesda's internal studio is "working on" Elder Scrolls 6, but that the project is a "long way off". Bethesda is currently working on seven other projects, two of which are larger than anything it has previously done, neither of which are ES6.

Last time I saw anything about this, was basically, "yes of course we are working on one... but it's not our priority"

Bethesda is currently working on a much needed gaming engine revamp (creation) and a brand new IP that "will" be coming out before ES6 (this was in an interview from a few years ago)

So this means we have to wait for them to at the very least build a new gaming engine, and a brand new IP before they even really put effort into ES6. We actually got skyrim a little faster on their cycle due to them wanting to release it on 11.11.11 - I think we are still another good 4-5 or even 6 years away from ES6

Hammerfell or the Sunset Isles would be nice.

Thanks for this thread. It reminded me that I have a play through on Skyrim SE that I need to get back to.

I started again and decided to specifically seek out quest lines I had never done. Dark Brotherhood is what I'm working on now because I want that stealth outfit.

It's one of the best quest lines in the game. It was the first I went to do when I started my play-through. Helps out with money a good bit too.

Once it is fully upgraded, it is so badass.

wait until you are a decent level before nabbing it.

iirc, the starting stats scale to the lvl you are when you get it.

Quest line was good, but I like the quest line in oblivion more. Same with the Mage's guild. Although Oblivion and Skyrim both left me wanting more after I became the listener

I feel like Black Marsh will be the next installment, really diving into the Hist connection to Oblivion.

I think it'd be awesome to set the game in Akavir. A human slave revolt against the Akaviri would be a great storyline.
