At some point soon the two worlds are technically able to collide if that production company would get their act together

Pokemon knows that they could put shite on a platter and it would sell like hot cakes right now, so why should they try?

They should make Pokemon except with people and change the setting from present day to maybe the 1600s-1800s

Idk, the Harry Potter world feels off if there aren't British accents lol

If Nintendo allowed their content to go multiplatform they would destroy all sales immediately

I was with you until I got an image of a southern inspired Hagrid in my head. Now I want nothing more.

Eh hold on the praise of Hogwarts legacy. It seems like a good game but there are definitely a lot of invisible walls, illusion of open world similar to forspoken, level scaling of enemies which apparently is a video game standard now, and you don't exactly choose your path as was advertised.

This is a classic game that releases to high praise and ends up settling on being an above average game with some broken promises mixed in

I'm not overly praising the game, more respecting the world they built. Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and the countryside are fricking amazing. You truly can't discredit that.

As far as your other complaints, I can't get too mad at the level scaling as I've been 10 levels beyond the suggested level since the first quest and would be steamrolling through otherwise, and I don't think this was ever billed as a true "all your choices matter" RPG.

I would love to see this game where the choices did matter obviously, but I realize this an adventure game targeted at a broad audience and not a Bethesda RPG.

Pokémon Legends Arceus is set 300 years in the past.

I'm playing it, It's very entertaining. I don't think it will be as impactful as playing red dead redemption 2, but it's a great game in it's own right.

I will say, if your actions mattered, it would inspire multiple play through's. I will probably 100% this game as much as possible in one play through and be done with it.

If they release another Harry Potter title a few years down the road, I will definitely play. I will look forward to a DLC down the road as well.

I was thinking about that this morning. I would love to have some games set at the other Wizarding schools with no defined lore. That way they can have a more open game with branching story paths - good or evil. For example, a game set in the Japanese or Ugandan schools that were mentioned.
