I used Urine gear on ng+ deathmarch. the critical attack damage modifiers on the swords were too good to pass up

I was playing on easy the first time and got really bored really quick. It was running around button mashing and trying to level up. Games got depth on death march it feels like.

It’s just Fn hard

Thanks old tiger for the tips. I’m not going fight that fricker again until I clear everything available right now

I've said it before and i'll say it again. Novigrad is the most realistic / alive city of any video game to date. It is big enough with enough different NPCs to feel like a real thriving city. Perhaps the prostitute to average citizen ratio is a bit too high.

All most of the wenches will do is either compliment me or turn me away too!!!!

I've chosen Triss to end up with and man tormenting Yen is almost as fun as romancing her.

This game has so many bugs and glitches yet you have to love it for it's depth and the work they put into the world! I have been saying one more quest for four hours now and that's just on the main quest line, I am not sure how I 100% the game before, the sheer number of quests in this game is staggering.

BTW did anyone see the thread with the nudes of Jen and Triss? Too bad the others missed it!

Either I have good luck or you have bad luck. I had almost no glitches through 3 playthroughs.

Hope you aren't a 100% completionist. Skellige has about 2000 question marks.

Pro Tip - Almost all of the water ? in Skellige are worthless. By that point, they won't have anything you need. Just minimal loot.

I like clearing all of the ? and Skellige was a serious chore.

Definitely am not a 100%er. I’ll be surprised if I ever finish the game. I usually play about 3 hours a week.

those fricking Harpies killed my desire to grab every ? in Skellige very quickly

even with underwater breathing potions. frick that

hopping island to island was great, though

Once you really learn the timing on the crossbow they weren't too bad, but... they would still end up sinking my boat. Each ?, I would take some damage to the boat. Eventually sinking. Then a nice 10 minute swim back to shore for another boat.

I really don't know what they were thinking with all the ? in Skellige. Maybe if the loot was randomized with a chance of getting something rare but it isn't. Just 100% pointless sunken treasure.

Pretty much the only negative thing I can say about the game. Pointless ? in Skellige.

agreed.

Also I want to add, the final boss of Heart of Stone , on deathmarch, is one of the hardest video encounters I can remember.

you can maybe get hit twice during the entire encounter. and only the light attacks. any heavy attack is a 1 shot through full plate armor

fun stuff

Never played any of the Witchers.

Is 19.99 for 3 GOY Edition a good deal and is there any reason to buy 1 and 2?

I'm playing this for the first time right now. Just got to the part where the main quest-line is bringing me to Skellige. Still knocking out secondary quests and contracts before doing the main quests though. I am level 17.

assuming that includes both dlcs, I think its a good deal

witcher 2 is a great game. never played 1 but its pretty dated. 2 holds up well. worth playing if you like w3

Great deal. Never played 1 or 2. There is some backstory, but nothing a quick google read can't solve. Mostly just history between characters more than anything else.

I didn't have many glitches a couple of years a go other then my medallion jumping around, I think it's an older game and newer hardware.
