Is Madden 20 worth it?

Was severely disappointed in Madden 19, but I traded all my games in with my xbox and I don’t have any football games on PS4. Is it worth getting 20?

Yes, if you really wanna play some football. It has its flaws but no more or less than its peers in the other Big 4 sports.

Well I picked it up. I’m off until Friday and I needed something to do. Definite improvement over last year. Just wish they would change up these boring arse announcers.
Also Kyler Murray is ridiculous. They made his speed at 91 and Deshaun Watson is only 84

No sports game will ever be worth it anymore unless you’re a Ultimate Team person.
We can only blame YouTubers and kids for shelling out extra hundreds if not thousands of dollars for the same players in packs every year. Until people wise up and get sick of that shite will things change but I don’t see that happening any time soon.

The only way that it is worth purchasing a sports game outside of The Show. Ultimate Team is a massive time sink though.

this was the first year that I didn't really follow the lead up to the game release, so I had no clue until seeing something on another board just now that RPOs were added to the game.
Did they get these right? Are they easy to implement without being cheesy?
I might end up getting this game later in the year if the RPOs aren't broken.

They’re pretty good and realistic. Gotta time them right or you’ll get hit with a lineman down field call. I recommend doing the little trainer with them.

The illegal man downfield calls are a little ridiculous, but they still work well. Not too OP
The X factors are cool, but often waaaaaayy to overpowered.
I will say that there are tons of bugs in the game, and EA shows no signs of improving or updating anything that isn't MUT. They're way more focussed on cosmetic changes than actual gameplay. Pretty annoying for someone who's been dumb enough to buy every madden since Madden 03, and has zero interest in online play. The depth of franchise mode seems to decrease every year.

It’s increased this year slightly. Not a fan of the new progression system though.

Why not? The last year I played was 18 and I found it difficult to progress players more than a few points unless they had superstar potential.
